🇺🇸🇺🇸US Festival of Champions🇺🇸🇺🇸

Made it safely to Lamplight for the 2026 competition. Sonnenberg Farm has six home-breds that are qualified for Festival this year and of the four that our rider Mackenzie qualified, we decided to bring two:

6-yr-old division: Sonnenberg’s Primrosa ❤️(Secret x Ampere), qualified 2nd in the country with an average score of 85.3% - had 3 FEI 5* judges this season, and scored ‘9’s’ on all 3 gaits (W, T, C) at different qualifying competitions. (pictured below)

5-yr-old division: Sonnenberg’s Royal Vegas 💙(Las Vegas x Fürstenball) qualified 4th with an average score of 85% - this guy is really starting to come out of his shell now - can’t wait to see him in Chicago as he’s developed so well later in the season - what a horse he will be.

Great job Mackenzie 🔝 for taking the horses over this year and developing them so carefully and beautifully. 👏🥰 🙏 The best is yet to come!

Vai Bruntink & ❤️ Rayabel S, (Glock’s Taminiau x Ebony x Westpoint) KWPN 5-year-old mare, winning🥇their Pavo Cup qualifier with an ‘85’ and a ‘9’ for trot. Super job Vai in developing our home-bred 🇺🇸🇳🇱🇺🇸🇳🇱 mare, they are really starting to blossom! 🌹🌹🌹 Can’t wait to see them in Ermelo!

Mackenzie Peer and Sonnenberg’s Paris 💙 (Vivino x Fürstenball x Sandro Hit), a 6-year-old KWPN home-bred gelding, earning a whopping ‘9.2’ on their trot score in the FEI 6 yr. old test from a FEI 5* judge this last weekend. They’ve had two FEI 5* judges this season and a ‘9’ or higher in their trot tour from each. 💪👍🙏

Qualified for the USEF National Championships at Lamplight 🙌🤩 and so proud of how far this pair has come and developed in a short time together.

❤️ Tetina S, (So Perfect x Glamourdale) 2023 KWPN mare, advanced to the region keuring and today was Reserve Champion 🥂 of Friesland and earned an invitation to Ermelo at the KWPN NMK (National Mare Keuring)/Show. Her highlight today was her elastic, supple trot scoring an 85%, 😲 with an overall of an 80/80. Her walk could have relaxed a bit more for a higher score, but we know it’s in there. Tetina is the third mare we’ve bred in Holland and the second that has earned an invite to the prestigious KWPN NMK Championship! 🇳🇱🇺🇸

Over the last two weekends, we’ve competed a few of our young horses in qualifiers for the 🇺🇸 2026 USEF/Markel Young Horse Dressage National Championships. 🇺🇸 While we’re still developing and growing, we’re incredibly proud of the progress being made and most importantly, the partnership Mackenzie is building with each of these talented horses.

❤️ Sonnenberg’s Primrosa (Secret x Ampere) (pictured above) continues to improve with every outing, earning scores up to 8.74 in the FEI 6-Year-Old classes, including 5 scores of 9.0 in both the trot, canter and perspective and consistently at least 8.5 for her walk tour.

💙 Sonnenberg’s Royal Vegas (Las Vegas x Fürstenball) has delivered impressive consistency in the FEI 5-Year-Old divisions, with scores reaching 8.70 and also multiple 9’s from the judging panels.

❤️ Sonnenberg’s Refine Time (Jovian x Fürstenball) continues to shine, earning combined scores up to 8.20, but her individual gait scores have been between 8.5-8.9 - we just have to put it all together in one class! We’ve done so at 1st level, test 3, where she has been high score open every time she’s competed, posting scores between 77% to over 80%.

💙 Sonnenberg’s Paris (Vivino x Fürstenball) is gaining confidence and strength with every show. Along with success up to 8.20 in FEI 6-Year-Old classes, he has also been consistently scoring above 70% now at 3rd level.

We couldn’t be prouder of these US homebred horses and look forward to seeing them continue to develop. Great job Mackenzie Peer and big thank you to Killian Deano for making the horses beautiful and on-time!

Sabine Schut-Kery & Sonnenberg’s Jersey 💙 (Vivaldi x Ferro, KWPN approved stallion), have recently completed two national Grand Prix competitions with scores in the 70’s and as high as 73%+! As a new Grand Prix horse, we are carefully building and developing Jersey’s career and Sabine and Jersey are gaining great experience as a team together. We couldn’t be more pleased with the direction this team is headed - super job Sabine! 👍👏

We can’t thank their coach 🙏 Christine Traurig, enough for her coaching to help this team get to this point - and we look forward to the future and what time, strength and development will bring with Christine’s continued coaching.
