Miss Sunflower was our 4th flower girl to go home and one of my favorite stories. Kynzey’s Aunt had gotten a pup from Maliibu’s first litter. She and Kyle came to see the Santa litter but the the timing wasn’t right. Once we found out Whiskey was pregnant they chose first pick. They came over several times to visit with the pups, first to choose their girl and then just to play with her.

Sunflower bonded with them from the start. The biggest girl of the group, she is a mini me of Dad. She has his laid back attitude and coloring, but also got the “look”. The “look” is a trait Juneau has passed down to several of his pups, and you know exactly is on his mind by the one you get.

Miss Sunflower also got a cool new name “Olive” to go with her new parents last name of Martini:)

Our next Flower girl to go home was Miss Poppy. She might not be the biggest of the group nor the fastest, but she is definitely the goofball of the group. Miss Poppy has headed down to Southern Oregon with DAVID and is going to have a great life being his sidekick in everything he does… And that includes being in parades sitting high up on the tractor. Not only is she keeping her litter name, but she gets to take the place of David’s previous husky who recently passed over the rainbow bridge. She is settling in nicely, and I have no doubt that this girl is going to get very spoiled as well as make one man very happy.

Miss Violet was our 2nd flower to go home. I know I’m not supposed to have favorites, but Violet definitely was. She is sweet and loving, but also a little bit sassy and very vocal about it.  Her new home is close by in Vancouver Washington so hopefully I’ll get to see her occasionally. She actually picked her new parents on her own, as she went right up to Angel and didn’t leave her arms until they left. We knew it was a perfect match and she is loving life and being spoiled tremendously

The bittersweet ending of the flower litter has come. Although we have carefully chosen excellent new homes for them, ıts still so hard to see a pup go 😞 Mıss Lılly was our fırst gırl to leave and made a 7 hour drive to her new home to Boıse Idaho and two older fur sıblıngs. She handled both lıke a champ and became an instant part of the family .  Lily was my laid-back pup, who often took an extra second to look at things before rushing into them. She was sweet and cuddly, and loved to explore. She loved to play hide and seek with her human family and often won that game. This little gal is going to grow up to be a gorgeous dog that looks just like her mother and have the amazing chill and laid-back personality of her dad. I’m really looking forward to seeing the adult version of her.

As our flower girls begin to head out to their new homes we are lucky enough to have Miss Rose for an extra week! Although she has lost some of her fur family, she is getting spoiled this week by her human family!!!!! We took her out in the boat and she took in all in stride. People often ask me how come my husky puppies are so mellow and calm??? I give all the credit to the combination of their great fur parents and constant interaction with their human family!!
