🔍 Spotting Ear Infections Early: Check for these tell-tale signs:

🐾 Frequent Scratching – Is your pet constantly pawing at their ear?

🤚 Head Shaking or Tilting – Notice them shaking or cocking their head more than usual.

🦠 Dark Discharge – Any dark, waxy buildup inside the ear?

👃 Unpleasant Odor – A foul smell often means bacteria or yeast.

🔴 Redness & Swelling – Look inside the canal for inflammation.

🩹 Crusting or Scabs – Scabs around or in the ear indicate ongoing irritation.

👂 If you see any of these, it’s time for a check-up!

🚨 A hot car can be deadly, even in just a few minutes.

When it’s 80°F outside, the inside of a parked car can reach 99°F in just 10 minutes and 114°F in 30 minutes. Cracking the windows does not make a safe difference.

Pets are more vulnerable to heatstroke because they can’t regulate temperature the way humans do. Symptoms like excessive panting, drooling, weakness, and vomiting can appear quickly, and without immediate intervention, heatstroke can be fatal.
