Jan 11th Schooling Show at TerraNova!
Yes, it is happening and entries are still open.
TerraNova has lifted the extra biosecurity requirements so no health certificate required. But you must have proof of vaccinations and negative Coggins submitted with your entry. Schooling on Saturday is allowed from 1pm to 5:30pm.
We have a show photographer - so this is a great opportunity to get great pictures of you and your horse in a beautiful setting.

ANNOUNCEMENT - Alpha Dressage Association and TerraNova Equestrian Center announce that the Alpha Dressage Schooling Show on December 14, 2025 has been rescheduled to January 11, 2026 due to concerns related to the EHV-1 outbreak and the welfare of our horses. This difficult decision resulted from the necessity for TerraNova to continuously comply with the heightened biosecurity protocols currently imposed by USEF and USDF. These requirements include a 14-day health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian for each horse and taking of each horse’s temperature upon arriving and each day present at the facility, in addition to the normal Coggins and vaccination records requirements. Alpha Dressage understands it may be difficult for our schooling show competitors and our volunteers to comply with these additional requirements given the limited time frame ahead of the December 14th show date. Delaying the show to Jan. 11th will provide an Alpha schooling show at the TerraNova facility at the beginning of the show season and, if necessary, allow time for competitors to comply with these additional biosecurity requirements if they remain in place.

If you have submitted an entry for the Dec. 14, 2025 show, please contact Donna Sloben at [email protected] and let her know if you want to keep your entry in place for the Jan. 11, 2026 show or want a refund.

Paul Belasik brings classical dressage principles into understandable exercises that will improve you and your horse. Check out his books and come ride with him on March 1 & 2, 2025. You can also learn a lot as an auditor from this master.

Alpha Dressage off to a great start in 2025 -- We had a great Alpha Dressage Schooling Show this past weekend with the renowned Bill Woods as our judge. Great opportunity for riders to get some extra input from Bill after their last ride. The schooling show was hard on the heels of our wonderful dressage clinic with Lauren Sprieser the prior weekend. The clinic had 11 rides on Saturday and 10 rides on Sunday with lots of auditors too. The combination of Lauren Sprieser and use of the covered arena at The Stables at TerraNova was a real win. The Stables at TerraNova could not have been more welcoming and gracious with us. We hope to get Lauren back again early in 2026! Block out your calendar now.
Thanks to all the riders, trainers and volunteers that help keep Alpha Dressage going. We are here for you - so let us know if you have ideas for our meetings, clinics and shows. Hope to post photos from both events soon. And hope to see you at our next meeting or event.

Entries are OPEN for the Lauren Sprieser Clinic on January 4 & 5 sponsored by Alpha Dressage. We are very excited to host Lauren at the beautiful TerraNova Equestrian Center. Riders must sign up and pay through thepegasus.app - and we are asking auditors to do that as well. Pegasus is a new online show entry and management software program. So, if you have any problems with registering, please reach out on the 24-7 Chat help (they have helped me a lot!). Also please let me know if you are having problems - I am in touch with the head honcho. Looking forward to seeing everyone at what is going to be a great clinic to start out the new year 2025!
