Our end-of-June grants have gone out giving a helping hand to 48 New Mexico nonprofits. The June grants totaled $334,000 bringing our year-to-date granting to $557,000 to 90 different nonprofits. Click here for a complete list of 2026 recipients: https://zimmer-foundation.org/our-grants/
This cute little pocket turtle was given to Desert Willow Wildlife Refuge in Carlsbad, New Mexico late last fall after he had been accidentally injured by a w**d whacker. They kept him thru the winter and then re-released when he was healthy enough to be on his own. We appreciate their work. They are the only wildlife rehab center within 300 miles of their location.
