We're 🌜OVER THE MOON 🌛 to be crowned this year's second place winner 🎉 for Best Veterinarian. Thank you to everyone who voted for us and to our fellow nominees! As we round out our first year in business the entire team at Mosaic would like to thank everyone for their support. Last year we were just three local vets with a dream of something better. Through the dedication of our incredible team and the support of this amazing community we've now grown into one of Northern New Mexico's best veterinary hospitals. 🐾❤️ We are beyond grateful and will continue to dedicate every day to our patients and this wonderful community that we serve. We hope to see you all on Friday at the Best of Santa Fe party!

Sometimes the best medicine is warmth, safety, and love. This purrfect angel was abandoned on the side of the road: dehydrated, broken and trying to cope with the trauma she'd endured. She was utterly alone.

Then fate stepped in when a compassionate stranger happened upon her and gave her a second chance. Her new guardian scooped her up in a Trader Joe's tote bag and brought her to Mosaic Animal Emergency for care and stabilization. The entire team rallied around her. She spent some time in the hospital but was discharged to her new home where she awaits the next steps in her journey.

Though her struggles are far from over, surgery and a long road to recovery lay ahead, this kitten has got kindness in her corner. And sometimes that's the best medicine. ❤️🐾

Summer is in full swing here at Mosaic Animal Emergency. Shout out to our incredible team who selflessly throws themselves into their work every day. Their dedication is clear in every catheter they place and every family they comfort. Without them, we could not care for the pets🐾❤️ (and their people!) of Northern New Mexico when they need us the most. Learning is one of the most important things we can do, not just for our patients, but for our team. We're so grateful to have our emergency department headed up by Dr. Christa Bernhard, a board-certified critical care specialist who is passionate about expanding our knowledge at Mosaic and pushing us all to practice the best medicine we can.

In addition to in-house lectures, twice daily case rounds and topic specific didactics, we also encourage our entire team to take advantage of continuing education opportunities. At Mosaic we don't just talk about changing the field, we put
VetMed2.0 into practice every single day.
