After a couple of rough pedicure sessions these last couple of months, with a couple of modifications to her squeeze and long talks with her momma, this absolute LEGEND rocked her hoof trim today!

Agnes, you are our hero!

Especially with the continued solid work of her village of helpers!

Karter arrived just in time to wish all of our volunteers a very happy National Volunteer Week! It’s because of your incredible dedication and hard work that we can give equines like Karter and Peter a safe and loving home.

The herd appreciates you beyond belief, and we are all so grateful you are a part of the Zeb’s Wish family!

We have a couple of little surprises coming to Zeb’s Wish. Stay tuned…

Last week, adoptive mom Lisa fulfilled her promise to her beloved Albert Ass stein. She and Paul gave him THE most loved last chapter on their beautiful Sauvie Island farm.

Al came to Zebs Wish after being abandoned on a cattle property in Walla Walla in 2019. He was largely unhandled, but with the diligent work of his foster mom, Debbie, he became an amazing and loving donkey citizen. He was quickly adopted by Lisa and Paul and became the cutest member of her small family of retired dressage horses.

We are grateful to Lisa and Paul for taking the bumpy ride of learning about (and adoring) this handsome donkey boy all the way to the end.

We will miss your gentle sweetness Albert. The rainbow bridge is forever more adorable with you gracing it.
