I want to put together the ultimate post-hysterectomy recovery care package for my sister 💗 She’s having her surgery next month (keeping her ovaries), and I really want her to feel supported and comfortable during recovery.

It’s been 17 years since my own hysterectomy (2008, I was 28 😳), and honestly… I don’t remember what was most helpful anymore.

POV: You finally stop wasting chicken feed 🙌

We switched to the RenRentACoop-lb capacity treadle feeder and it’s been a total game-changer.
Especially after we recently upgraded by adding extenders to reach 55-lb capacity. Feeding has become a less than once-a-week task 👏

🦶 Treadle Feeder
How it works:
Chicken steps on the pedal → lid opens → chicken eats → lid closes.
Pros:
✅ Virtually zero feed waste
✅ Rodent & wild bird proof
✅ Feed stays clean and dry
✅ Better biosecurity
✅ Fewer refills (weekly with larger capacity)
✅ Saves money long-term
Cons:
❌ Higher upfront cost
❌ Short learning curve for chickens

⬇️ Gravity Feeder
How it works:
Feed flows continuously into an open tray.
Pros:
✅ Lower initial cost
✅ Simple, no training needed
Cons:
❌ High feed waste (scratching & flinging)
❌ Attracts rodents and wild birds
❌ Feed gets wet, dirty, and pooped in
❌ Requires frequent refilling
❌ Higher feed costs over time
