As someone who is a full time equine veterinarian and has never owned a horse I may be biased- but I do not think that you have to own a horse to be a successful equine veterinarian. Yes, there is a lot more ground to cover in many aspects, but I fully believe that you can do anything you set your mind to with enough work & heart. Equine veterinarians are hard to come by these days, we need you so don’t give up.πŸŽπŸ”οΈπŸ©Ί

I know I’ve been talking about income a lot on here lately but I truly would not be where I am today if I hadn’t seen other people posting about what they were doing and how much they were making and wanting the same for myself. Now that I’m here I hope to do the same for others. I hope me posting how fulfilled I am both in my career & financially will help you know that you CAN have both. It is possible, and it is SO rewarding. I used to be in a place where I severely regretted becoming a veterinarian because I wasn’t fulfilled by my work and I wasn’t even making enough to pay off my degree. β˜‘οΈ Student loans feel impossible especially when you are in school- watching someone pay them off little by little demonstrates you can do it too!
β˜‘οΈ you can be a successful equine veterinarian AND do small animal relief. something many never knew was an option!
β˜‘οΈ vets CAN make good money, but I used to make a fraction of what I make now- I never knew I could make decent money until I saw these types of posts online and decided to go out and make it for myself.

July Relief Income Update! I broke a record for the most I have been able to put towards loans this month. My minimum payment is now $755.82 and will likely go up next year. My goal to pay off in 6 years is based on $3000 a month which is hard to do- but possible! This was the first time my net worth was under $-200k.
