Vista Vet Clinic and Urgent Care We are a locally owned veterinary clinic that provides walk-in urgent care and general wellness care to dogs & cats.

We are a small animal urgent care vet clinic owned & operated by former emergency veterinarians. We offer urgent and emergency care, surgery, dental care, vaccinations, bloodwork, x-rays, and same-day walk in care for dogs & cats.

It’s foxtail season in Utah. This dog had a very small foxtail that caused a very large abscess over the top of the paw. Foxtails can get stuck and embed anywhere - paws, ears, noses, and eyes included! Please check your pets carefully after walks, hikes, or time in tall grass. Signs can include limping, swelling, licking, sneezing, head shaking, or sudden eye irritation. If you think your pet may have a foxtail, call Vista Vet Clinic right away. Early removal can prevent a much bigger problem.
