We are a small animal urgent care vet clinic owned & operated by former emergency veterinarians. We offer urgent and emergency care, surgery, dental care, vaccinations, bloodwork, x-rays, and same-day walk in care for dogs & cats.

What’s going on in this x-ray?! This kitty was spayed at another clinic, and the owner noticed a swelling at the spay site. We took this x-ray which shows an abdominal hernia, which is a complication that can occur when the sutures in the muscle wall come loose, when a pet isn’t kept still after surgery.

Make sure you’re checking your dog’s paws for foxtails! They love to get caught in mats on the bottom of the paws and hide in between the toes. We are seeing so many pets with foxtails this year!

Gorgeous eyes, Bowie! 💙💚 What’s the name of this phenomenon?

It’s called heterochromia. Each eye is a different color caused by variations in pigment. It’s a harmless color variation and is more common in white cats, and we think it’s gorgeous! 🤍🐱
