“Hi Larissa,
I hope you had a great holiday weekend. I wanted to send an update on Nyx. She has very quickly integrated into our little family, we are so in love and feel like she’s been a part of our unit for a long time already. Leo (22 months) has many phrases that revolve around her. “What you doing Nyxie?”, “Good morning, Nyxie!”, “Potty outside, Nyxie!”, it goes on and on. She is SO GOOD with him, we could not feel luckier.
She is a very active girl, loves to go up our play set and down the slide, after watching Leo do it, she became very interested all on her own (we help her down to make sure she lands safely). She had her first trip to the family cabin, and had a blast swimming and retrieving! There’s another new puppy in the family, so she is enjoying a new and regular play mate. We just finished up our puppy classes at Canine Coach (which includes a ton of socialization) and we start level 1 obedience in a couple of weeks. She weighed in at 28 lbs at the vet today. Our vet office is totally smitten, they all get so excited when she comes in. Everyone who meets her comments on her beautiful coat and blocky head. If you remember, my dad used to hunt behind labs for decades and many of his friends are still lab owners. He can’t get over her. “The best looking lab I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot.”
In summary, she’s perfect. And everyone agrees 😊
