Last weekend, our kids Allison and Brayden participated in Boerne Lemonade Day, presented by Sonora Bank, as part of the National Lemonade Day program — an incredible program that teaches kids entrepreneurship, leadership, and how to run their own business. 🍋

Their stand, Ally & Bray’s Art Splash Lemonade, proudly won **2nd Place in the tasting competition** with their Hibiscus Dragon Fruit Lemonade! 🏆

They are now entered in the **People’s Choice Award**, and Dr. Michele and Dr. Travis would love to ask our amazing Great Northwest Animal Hospital family for a little support.

Please join us in cheering on Allison and Brayden Wright at their lemonade stand in Boerne on May 2nd!

These two have been working hard on this project since February, and we’re proud to watch them turn determination into something meaningful. If they win the “Stand of the Year” title, the prize will be donated to the Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation, helping support Meals on Wheels in San Antonio.

A little lemonade, a lot of heart, and a great cause behind it. We’d love to see our community show them some support 💛

🚨 CAT FOOD SAFETY ALERT 🚨

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning pet owners that 8 lots of Quest Cat Food contain extremely low or no thiamine (Vitamin B1).

👉 Why this matters:
Thiamine is essential for cats. Deficiency can lead to serious neurologic issues and can be fatal if untreated.

👉 Reported symptoms include:
• Decreased appetite, vomiting
• Weakness, wobbly walking
• Neck drooping
• Seizures

👉 What’s concerning:
• FDA tested 8 lots, all were deficient
• Only some lots have been recalled so far

👉 What to do:
• If your cat is eating Quest Cat Food, check your lot numbers
• If your cat shows symptoms, seek veterinary care immediately

When caught early, this condition is often reversible.
