Some of you may already recognize her — Dr. Leavitt previously worked with us as a veterinary assistant during her undergraduate years, and we are beyond excited to welcome her back home as a doctor.

With a passion for small animal medicine, pocket pets (including rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets), and public health, she brings both experience and compassion to every patient she sees. 🐶🐱🐰

We know she’s going to make an incredible addition to our team and to the families we serve, and we can’t wait for you and your pets to meet her! ✨

This Memorial Day, we take time to pause, reflect, and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country 🇺🇸

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness are the reason we are able to enjoy the freedoms we have today. We remember not only their service, but the lives they lived and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

There are some people who walk into your life for a season, and others who leave a lasting mark forever. 💙🐾

Watching these graduates grow from dedicated team members into future veterinarians has been one of the greatest privileges. From long days in scrubs to late nights studying, they’ve poured their hearts into this dream — and now they’re taking the next step toward making it a reality. 🎓🩺

While it’s hard to imagine the clinic without them, we are so incredibly proud to watch them spread their wings and begin this new chapter in vet school. The compassion, determination, and love they’ve shown our patients and clients will no doubt make them amazing doctors one day.

No matter where this journey takes them, they will always be part of the Cypress Creek family. Please help us congratulate our future DVMs! ✨

Meet Obito 🐾💙

Those extra adorable toes aren’t just for looks—Obito is a polydactyl cat, meaning he was born with more than the usual number of toes! Most cats have 18 toes, but polydactyl kitties like Obito can have extra on their front paws, back paws, or both—giving them those big, mitten-like feet 🐾✨

This unique trait is caused by a harmless genetic variation and is actually pretty common in some areas. Fun fact: they’re sometimes called “Hemingway cats” because author Ernest Hemingway loved them!

We think Obito’s extra toes just add to his charm 🥰 Drop a 🐾 in the comments if you love those big mitten paws as much as we do!
