Would you boop these snouts??

Today is the final day for bidding in the Hearts and Hooves Auction! Unfortunately, we are still $12,000 away from reaching our goal.

The Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year and provides critical funding for the animals at the sanctuary.

It’s been a difficult fundraising year as we all struggle with increasing costs. At the same time these is also when we see so many cruelty and neglect cases as animals are always the last to be cared for.

If we can’t reach our goal, it will mean not being able to help the animals who need us most. So if you can, the animals and we would appreciate your bids or your donations.

Nellie’s sweet little babies dreaming the day away.

It’s a beautiful thing to sleep peacefully as a pig. No worries, no harm, and no trauma. Nellie endured so much but she got her babies to safety.

Good Morning from Nellie and the piglets!

Mama is doing well. Each day is a little better than before. She shakes every time she sees a person so you can certainly tell, Nellie, has experienced some trauma in her life.

She’s also very protective of the babies. But each day she experiences nothing but love, food, cozy beds, and safety for her babies. Earning her trust will come in time. 💛💛

💥Urgent Rescue! Please help this mama and her babies! 💥

We were contacted to help this family of pigs. Their owners couldn’t properly care for them and reached out for help. In the week it took them to get back to us they decided to butcher the dad. So yesterday, when they reached back out we rushed over to pick up mom and her babies, fearing the worst would happen to them as well.

Mom is only 9 months old. She’s just a baby trying to raise her babies. They were living in a makeshift shelter with a dirt floor.

Now they have a cozy bed, fresh water, food, and a heat lamp for staying cozy. Mama’s doing great. She loves her babies dearly.

Her energy was very anxious when she first arrived but she has settled in now. Even allowing us to pet her and the babies. She knows she’s in a good place.

Mama and the babies need your help to cover their meals, hay, and spay/neuter surgeries. Can you donate to help them? We will need to raise $2500 to cover their first few months of life.
