We are located at the back gate to Canterwood off of Peacock Hill in beautiful Gig Harbor, WA. We are a multi-discipline boarding barn and riding facility. We hope you enjoy our page!

PLEASE NOTE: Canterwood Riding Club has a stall and paddock available! Please contact Sue at 507-250-3387 or send FB message with your contact information. Indoor stall and outdoor paddock with shelter for each horse. Indoor and outdoor arenas and a round pen. Indoor arena footing well maintained. Horses turned out daily by excellent staff according to established schedule. Boarders belong to Canterwood Riding Club, a non-profit organization.

Canterwood Riding Club held its most comprehensive facility cleanup this year, with ten boarders and their spouses dedicating half or more of their day to the effort. Work included cleanup of the entrance and front of the barn, cleaning up the inside of the barn, cleaning the arena interior, cleanup of facility grounds, and washing and cleaning our tractor and golf cart. We did extensive w**d whacking, hand w**ding, power washing, etc. We have some major projects upcoming, including redoing the arena and round pen footing, building a cover for our composting area (covered by a state conservation grant), and bulldozing and leveling our paddocks to mitigate against accumulation of mud from water runoff during the winter.
