The weather conditions were unpleasant but that didn’t stop Ziggy from displaying all the progress she and her owner/handler have been striving towards in training. After logging nearly 150 training hours, earning CGC/CGCU/CGCA titles, and demonstrating the ability to assist in several tasks, Ziggy passed her Service Dog Public Access Test and is removing the “in training” patches. It has been an honor working with this team.

One of the most common obedience requests I receive is for recall training. The Friday group class has been working a lot of recall amidst distractions, but even young puppies have this be a big part of the training curriculum.

Tenchi being cute to get your attention for an important announcement:
The only remaining new client consultation slots for the month of May are Tuesday May 19 at 11:00 and Tuesday May 26 at 12:30. For the 19th that could be at Kovas’s Legacy or in-home. For the 26th, the consult availability is at Kovas’s Legacy only. If you are considering a summer training program, reach out to secure one of those slots. They are the only remaining consultation availability until the second week of July.

Trying out something new with an advanced obedience group class. I designed this class for dogs that have completed private training with me and are ready for the challenge of advanced distractions and being asked to perform skills in close proximity to dogs doing other activities.
