UPDATE: Sweet Montanna has crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🐺🌈💔 Please keep uplifting Jodi and Michael in your prayers and please continue sending in those donations so we can help them offset all of the expenses they incurred as she fought to stay with the people she loved.
URGENT REQUEST FOR DONATIONS!!!
The dog on the left is Montanna, a stunning 3-year-old Siberian Husky who was one of Fenrisulfr’s (shown on the right) puppy playmates prior to his finding his forever home with me. Montanna is a BurnsBerg Husky, just like Kovas’s Legacy’s own Amarok, Vhagar, Poseidon, Fenrisulfr, and Nisqually.
Yesterday, Montanna was stung by bees. She has suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction. She is currently hospitalized and in renal failure. She has tissue damage from lack of oxygen. Montanna is fighting for her life right now, and I’m asking my followers to help provide whatever they can to help offset the veterinary expenses. She is a fighter, and her fight should not end due to lack of funding!
BurnsBerg's Siberian Huskies LLC is not a nonprofit, so I cannot set up a Facebook fundraiser. What I can do is collect donations and send to Jodi. Jodi Burns Pufahl and her husband Michael are the humans behind all the wooly husky love at Burnsberg Kennels. Burnsberg and I have a business partnership so I already have the means set up to send any money collected.

While Montanna’s reaction is incredibly severe, please know that in many cases 1mg Benadryl per 1lb body weight can reduce swelling of bee stings to our canine family. Please make sure Benadryl is part of your first aid kit for your dog. It did not help Montanna unfortunately, and she is now in the hands of a veterinary team doing all they can to save her.
Please contribute what you can. As someone who has personally spent many thousands of dollars in canine emergencies, I can tell you that no amount is too small and will be greatly appreciated.
