Calvin, Claire, Clara, Charlotte, and Sweet Caroline are the remaining “C” puppies out of a litter of 11 who are looking for a home, a family. A one point recently , we had 7 litters of puppies in our shelter. Overwhelming, to say the least. It has understandably taken a bit to get them all fixed and ready to find them all homes, Please help these holdouts and share. They are all really well socialized, happy puppies deserving to grow up loved by a family of their own.

Are you looking for a fur-ever lover kitty? Check me out! I'm Valentina, a 2-year-old black female who came to Paws and Claws from another rescue. I'll be quiet and shy when you first meet me, but like a Valentine's treat, I'm very sweet. I love to be petted, and I like attention even more than playing. If you want a "purrecious" dark chocolate kitty kat, stop by and say hello to Valentina! I'd love to be your sweetheart.

This sweet and gentle boy was found out on his own and unfortunately never claimed. Doug is hanging out at Animal control.

Doug was in rough shape when he first arrived, and he has spent weeks going to vet appointments to get his skin and weight under control. He is in a much better condition now and is ready to start looking for his new home.

Doug is a large boy... currently at 85lbs and he is still putting weight back on. He has a sweet and calm demeanor and loves attention from anyone and everyone. Doug would do best as the only pet in his adoptive home.

If Doug sounds like he could be the boy for you, apply online and we will set up a time to meet him!

Wide eyed Spencer saying hello to all you folks that follow the PCHS FB page. He is dazzling in his pretty blue bow tie too. "Know your lines and don't bump into the furniture," said no cat ever! That was Spencer Tracy, not Spencer, the cat! I'm a good-looking adult male who could be a movie star, couldn't I? Maybe not as good as the late, great Mr. Tracy, but he's in a whole ‘nother cat-egory! I came to the shelter from another rescue, and I am writing my own script. I do talk a bit, and I make up my lines as I go. I'm an outgoing actor who likes action roles and some quieter ones too. I do I have lots of energy, and I like to play. I do tend to get underfoot - sorry, I understand that humans are not furniture. Please watch carefully when walking because I don't want to trip you. Seniors, beware. I'll be a lot of fun to have around, and I'd love to have a big role in a life-long "movie" with you as Spencer, the Cat.

Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight; I wish I may, I wish I might have the wish I wish tonight. I'm Pleiades, named for a cluster of stars in the night sky. I'm a pretty lady who came to Paws and Claws from another rescue in July 2023. I was adopted in October 2023, but returned to the shelter in May 2025 because my family could no longer keep me. I enjoy being petted, and I appurrciate getting out to play! I would do best in a home with no small children. I wish I may, I wish I might, go home to be with you each night. Please choose Pleiades to be your shining star.
Pleides was returned through no fault of hers, she did nothing wrong. Please put a lot of thought when adopting a companion animal because when they are returned it's heartbreaking for them and it's heartbreaking for us humans as well. This girl is a number 1 winner.

Jacoby is one of the 24 Shelties we took in from a horrible situation. He is ready to spend the rest of his life being treated like royalty and being acknowledged as the good boy that he is. You must apply on line in order to meet Jacoby or any of the remaining Shelties. He is a gentle soul and easy to walk. Jacoby has been neutered and is up to date on all his vetting work. What a beautiful boy!
