Today we had a surprise. Baby kittens! Someone found two mamas and their babies. They brought them to us because they didn’t know which shelter to go to. We gave them Some TLC and warm beds. Thank you to the Good Samaritan that dropped them off to us , thank you to River Forest Police for taking them to ACL , and thank you to ACL for taking the mommies and babies in💙🐾😻

Who remembers playing freeze tag?! Well we just put a whole new meaning to the game! We now have Cryosurgery, also known as cryotherapy, which is a non-invasive procedure used to remove skin tags and other skin growths in pets by freezing and destroying the tissue. This Valentine’s Day we just want to remind you to keep in mind what kind of flowers you’re giving and/or receiving to your loved ones. Some flowers may be toxic to pets at home. Also don’t forget to store the chocolate where your dogs can’t reach (or just eat it all in one sitting!)

According to Dr. St-Denis: “Within their defined territory, cats need sources of food and water, places to hide and perch, places to sleep safely, objects/toys to hunt and a place to void and defecate. These resources need to be safely available throughout the territory. This is particularly important in multi-cat households.”
This should ideally be for each cat!
