Elmwood-Grove Animal Hospital

Elmwood-Grove Animal Hospital About Us ... Since 1972, our veterinarians and staff have been providing compassionate and quality health care for your pets. Dr. Lawrence M.
(201)

Fox founded the Elmwood-Grove Animal Hospital in 1972 as a place of healing, help and kindness for the creatures with whom we share our homes and our lives. We are a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We are an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Associate (AAHA). Since 1978, we have regularly un

dergone evaluations by AAHA to ensure that we comply with the association's high quality standards of care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas. At Elmwood-Grove Animal Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

A diagnosis of osteoarthritis in a pet can be unwelcome to the veterinarian as well as the pet owner because the disease is painful and progressive, but experts say earlier diagnosis and treatment are pivotal to managing both the pain and the progression of the disease.

Patient Database Update Coming 4/20/26! Did you get our e-mail this week? If not, we'll post it below. We'll close early Saturday & again Monday AM to transfer all of our patient files. So, if you need care or your pet needs refills, call us Friday! See below for details.

Next Monday, we will launch a new electronic medical records system. This upgrade is designed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our services, ensuring we continue to provide the highest level of care for your pets. With this upgrade, you'll get:

Faster access to your pet’s medical history
More accurate record-keeping
Better communication with our team
Temporary Hours for a Smooth Transition

To ensure everything is set up correctly, we will close at 11 AM on Saturday, April 18 and re-open at 1 PM on Monday, April 20. Please plan any medication refills in advance so we can help you.

With our upgrade, the PetOne Veterinary mobile app (formerly known as the Happy Healthy Pets mobile app) will be temporarily unavailable starting April 20. We will notify you once the app is back online. In the meantime, you’ll still receive timely healthcare reminders by email and text, so you won't miss any updates.

One Number for Everything! On April 20, you will be able to call and text us using just one number: (708) 456-6700. This will replace our old texting number, so please update your records. Having one number makes it simpler than ever to reach us!

Our online booking service will also be receiving an upgrade. While it will be briefly unavailable starting Friday, April 17, we’ll let you know as soon as the improved system is live.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️As our team learns the new system, some visits may take a little longer than usual. We appreciate your patience as we get up to speed. The goal is to deliver an even smoother, more personalized experience for you and your pets. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’re truly excited about these enhancements and the opportunity to serve you better. Thank you for your understanding and trust as we continue to grow and improve. If you have any questions or need to adjust an appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

With warm regards,
Elmwood Grove Animal Hospital 🤓🐾❤️

: raise a hand (or paw) if you've found any since February. We've seen them for weeks now. :( We even had to remove one from a former coworker last week! & have great medications that offer protection. We do not, so if you find a tick on a pet, CHECK YOURSELF, TOO! & other tick diseases can be very serious.
