Pickles first time in the 2ft . It’s really fun to feel a young horse discovering their ability, and really enjoying their job. I think this describes this beautiful mare to a tee. Her progress everytime she steps into the arena over fences amazes me. 6 months ago she truly didn’t know how to jump. I don’t believe in over facing young horses . I believe it’s always better to go too slow than too fast. And the progression for Pickles has been exactly what she has needed. Her fitness has really progressed in the short time we have had her, and her temperament is calm and brave.

Afterwards I enjoyed a hack on my big bear 🐻 and I can truly say it’s been a wonderful birthday thus far thanks to my wonderful horses and clients and horse community!

Pickles and Osito had such a fun school today at Jacey Ellis beautiful farm today. It was an open schooling day and a wonderful opportunity to get baby pickles out to school some fences and ride outside in the open.
The bear school a couple flying changes, and was the usual soul candy.

We have another Pickles 🥒 now 🤣 pickles arrived for a 30 day training to work on relaxation. We are excited to help him on his journey to achieving relaxation under saddled on the ground alike! He’s one smart little cookie

Today we hosted a ground handling clinic for Jefferson county 4h. We have hosted 3 clinics in the last 3 weeks - 2 just this week! It’s been so fun to watch the kids learn and implement their new tools on all our wonderful horses here. So grateful to be part of such a great program 🍀

Our sweet Sunday Morning ( Pickles) had her first show today! She was genuinely calm and really enjoyed herself! Riding pickles is much like riding a cooked spaghetti noodle so I was very proud of her being semi straight at times lol - we also started to latch on to some fences which was really nice to feel since this girl has jumped maybe 15 times in her life at most and really had no clue what to do at first. She was curious, calm, social, and it was everything a trainer could dream for a first show experience! So proud of this youngster ! 🥒
