GOOD MEWS MONDAY!!!

Congrats to our four kitties that went home last week! Ducky, Glacier, Quinn and Piper we are so happy for you and thankful that your forever family picked YOU!

Ducky was found as a stray in a parking lot, his rescuers were able to bring him in and care for him until ARC could get him neutered. While in his foster home, he turned out to be a complete love bug! He stole the heart of a family that had previously adopted from ARC, and so we know he’ll be in great hands! He is super sweet, playful and lots of fun! We think he’ll love having a kitty brother about his age to play and snuggle with!

Glacier and his brothers, Frost (adopted) and Tundra (still available at PetSmart!) were found as kittens weathering the ice storm. Luckily, they found the right house to take shelter and they were brought in from the cold. Their rescuer was able to foster them temporarily until we could get a more permanent foster set up for them. Glacier sounds cold, but he can melt hearts, just ask his family!

Quinn and Piper were found as kittens with their four other siblings, and they went into a foster home, where they built a strong bond! Their dad saw them at PetSmart and knew they would be the purrfect addition to the family and they are so excited to get to stay together forever!

A huge thank you to last week’s adopters, welcome to the ARC family! We really appreciate all who adopt from us. Feel free to drop a picture in the comments and let us know how your furbaby is doing since being adopted.

To anyone and everyone needing to rehome your pet. Please be aware EVERYONE IS FULL, EVERYWHERE! Please be patient when calling ARC. We are a very limited staff and we are in the peak of kitten season. We are receiving at the minimum 20 calls a day. We will gladly give you more options and resources to consider or any advise. Please be kind when calling to whoever answers the phone. We not only work our butts off everyday but we all are dealing with being overwhelmed and often times mentally drained. We are doing the best we can. If you would like to help, we are always looking for volunteers and at this time we are desperately seeking kitten fosters. We always need food and litter and cleaning supplies. Please go to our website to find out all the volunteer options available. We need your help so we are able to help you

GOOD MEWS MONDAY!!!

Congrats to our six kitties that went home last week! Finn, Mitch, Hannah, Heidi, Leo and Salem we are so happy for you and thankful that your forever family picked YOU!

Finn was found as a neighborhood stray and he was trapped to be neutered. After his neuter, he turned into a total love bug! He has been waiting for his forever family for a long time, stealing hearts the whole time, but never able to land a permanent home… Until now! Finn met his family and laid on the charm, they were smitten immediately and he is now spoiled rotten with snuggles, treats and lots of much needed grooming!

Mitch and his siblings were picked up as stray kittens and brought into safety. Luckily, our foster network was able to give him a safe place to grow up and get ready for adoption! He met his family at PetSmart and he didn’t waste any time! He is so happy to have his very own home and family to love and play with!

Hannah and Heidi were trapped a couple of years ago as older kittens. Although timid, they showed lots of potential for adoption. They went into foster so they could be socialized more and learn to trust and love people. It worked! They are still a little nervous and scared in new situations, but are brave and face their fears if there are pets and snuggles to be had! They are now with a patient and loving family who know exactly how to make them feel comfortable, safe and confident!

Leo was rescued from the streets by a wonderful human. He got to live in her house until we could get him a slot for neuter. When he showed up at ARC, he had his charm turned on high! When he met his family, he made fast friends with the kiddos and was equally sweet and friendly to the adults. He is happily soaking up all the attention, playtime and snuggle time with his new family!

Salem was picked up as a stray kitty who would follow home his rescuer and try to make his way inside the home. Our priority was to get him neutered, but of course he showed us that he was highly adoptable and wanted the chance for his own forever home. He spent quite a bit of time at ARC before someone saw his sweet nature and fun catitude! He will be a fun addition to their family!

A huge thank you to last week’s adopters, welcome to the ARC family!!! We really appreciate all who adopt from us. Feel free to drop a picture in the comments and let us know how your furbaby is doing since being adopted. We love seeing all our former residents in their forever homes!
