How about some Tuesday night trivia?!?!

We have 53 pups in rescue.
We have 3 kittens in rescue.
We have 3 bags of puppy food.
We have 1 bag of small breed adult food.

How many hours until we run out?!??

Not exactly the kind of “rescue math” we like. Our puppies are growing like weeds and we can’t keep the shelves stocked.

Guys. We have an AMAZING pup - Fraiser- who has spent weeks in foster without ANY interest.

No applications - no meet and greets. We don’t understand!

Frasier is:

✅ 6 month old terrier mix
✅ 15 lbs.
✅ Great with ALL!
✅ LOVES children and thrives around them
✅ Leash trained
✅ Doing great with potty training
✅ Neutered, microchipped and up to date!

These two bonded Pomeranian boys need a safe place to land! We are searching for a foster home (and eventually adoptive home) where these boys can stay together.

Here’s what we know about them:

✅ Pomeranians - males
✅ One adult, one younger adult
✅ Both under 10lbs.
✅ LOVES everyone they meet
✅ Dog-friendly

⚠️‼️Foster Call ⚠️‼️

Izzy came into rescue this past week, and she needs a new foster.

This girl has gotten a little too protective of her foster mama. She’s showing some resource guarding behaviors - which is not ideal in a home with young kiddos - or larger resident dogs who may react to the behavior.

So, we’re searching for a foster home (or adopter!) without young kiddos for Izzy to hang out with while she finds her FURever.

Here’s what we’ve learned about Izzy thus far:

✅ Potty trained
✅ Crate trained (though prefers to be your shadow!)
✅ Does great in the car - and really enjoys car rides
✅ Leash trained and LOVES walks
✅ Loves playing with small dogs

Foster mama thinks Izzy would flourish in a home where she can be a true companion to someone who loves dog snuggles!

Not the way we wanted to start the week - but we need our village!

This little family was dumped in a rural SWVA area. Mom, Dad, and four little (Ewok?) pups all abandoned. The shelter is full, so of course we said “yes.” Now, we need fosters.

We are searching for 3 different foster homes:

✅ FILLED! No longer needed. TEMP foster for 4 pups (Wed- Tuesday)

✅ Foster for mom

✅ Foster for dad

Today’s Deserving Doggo is our boy Squirrel.

We CANNOT BELIEVE Squirrel is still available. This boy has been with us since he was a week old bottle baby - and is still looking for someone to love him FUREVER. Let us tell you about this lovable lad:

✅ 4 month old terrier mix (he has some scruff in his coat)
✅ 15-20ish lbs.
✅Great with ALL! He loves his littermate Vira, his foster brother Buck, and Beans, the resident cat!
✅ Leash trained
✅ Potty trained - sleeps through the night in his crate
✅ LOVES chew bones
✅ Extremely smart and treat motivated!

This boy has been through so much and really deserves a home to call his very own.
