💛 It happened again… and this one reminded me just how special our teams really are.

A phone call came in about a found dog wearing one of our yellow Five Points Pet Resort bandannas.

All we had was a picture of an older black Lab mix.

Within minutes, both our Vass and Raeford teams were in full detective mode.

Photos were being searched. Bath records were being checked. Names were being tossed around. Phones were ringing. Everyone was hoping for that one “Wait… I know that dog!” moment.

Since we share clients between locations, we knew there was a chance someone would recognize her.

Then Brianna said, “Could it be Biscotti.....?”

It was.

We called Biscotti’s mom, who confirmed her son had accidentally dropped the leash and Biscotti had taken off. She shared that Biscotti had been rescued years ago after getting loose, making this even more emotional for their family.

About that same time, Moore County Humane Society called. Biscotti had been found and scanned for her microchip. The kind gentleman who found her had stopped by because he recognized our yellow Five Points Pet Resort bandanna and hoped we could help identify her.

❤️ Yesterday, we got the update we had all been waiting for…

Biscotti is HOME.

This isn’t the first pup that’s been reunited with their family because someone recognized one of our bandannas, and we hope every story ends this way.

What makes me the proudest isn’t the bandanna.

It’s watching two teams, in two different locations, immediately come together with one goal: Get this dog home.

No one had to be asked. Everyone just jumped in.

To our Vass team, our Raeford team, Moore County Humane Society, and the kind person who stopped to help—thank you.

This is why we do what we do. 💛🐾
