Belton was good to us and boy did Río run and run.. and run 🏃‍♂️

In conformation, he went reserve WD Saturday but took Best of Winners today for point #7 today towards his American Kennel Club championship!

He had his first runs in Fast CAT - averaging just over 23mph and earning 93 points towards his BCAT, then went on to do his three runs in coursing ability earning his CA title!

While both sports require the dog to chase a lure on a pully system, Fast CAT is a timed, straight, 100 yard dash that calculates the dogs speed and awards points for every MPH they run. Coursing ability test that the dog is willing to chase the lure in a more complex pattern, running 600 yards with multiple turns. Three successful runs earns a Coursing Ability (CA) title.

Río is now formally known as -RACEN RO1 NC Wodan's River Wild BN RA CGCA CGCU *CA* TKN BN-V VHMP VSWB FITB FDC- ( Chance x Koma)

I would appreciate it if you would consider voting for me, or anyone else you feel deserves this award. It is to recognize those who support and help the dog communities grow.

UKC All Breed Sports and United Kennel Club

It's time to recognize the people who make UKC special! Voting is NOW OPEN for Ambassador of the Year, presented by Eukanuba!
This award isn’t about the fastest time, highest score, or biggest win. It’s about the people who make UKC better.
You know who they are: the person who cheers from ringside, lends a hand, welcomes newcomers, shows great sportsmanship, and always makes an event a little more enjoyable for everyone around them.
Now's your chance to recognize the people who make UKC what it is. Cast your vote and help us celebrate the people who make UKC what it is! ❤️

What a great weekend we had at the NASDA event held at the Fayetteville Kennel Club! Of course, we absolutely love our judge, Ady Sherrer, and appreciate all the hard work she puts into these events.
Bivalytol Buszke Koma surprised me with his enthusiasm and willingness to work with me. This boy continues to prove that he has more to offer than I sometimes give him credit for!
Bonum et Malum Wodan’s Moody Blue also had a fantastic weekend, showing off her skills and earning some well-deserved titles.
🏆 Koma earned his Versatility Title, while Blue earned her Trialing and Locating Title and Urban Locating Titles!
I love watching these dogs step up, try new things, and remind me just how versatile the Mudi can be. Sometimes they surprise us the most when we simply give them the opportunity to try something different.
A huge thank-you to Ady Sherrer and everyone who helped make this such a fun and successful weekend. We are already looking forward to the next adventure!

Bonum et Malum Wodan’s Rosmary, now known as **“Brick,”** arrived the first week of September and settled in like she had always been here.
Amarilla of Bonum Et Malum Mudi Kennel FCI did an amazing job raising this sweet girl, and I am so thankful for the wonderful foundation she gave her. If you want to import a mudi pup, she is your go to person!
I decided to enter Brick in the Aiken All Breed Show mostly to get her used to the show environment, because apparently we thought throwing her into a event filled with barking dogs, people, noise and excitement was a perfectly reasonable way to spend a weekend.
Brick can be a little vocal at times. And by “a little vocal,” I mean she occasionally feels the need to provide commentary on what is happening around her. We are working on that, and she does respond well to “no” and redirection. She is learning that not every dog at a show actually needs to hear her opinion.
There are SO many dogs at a show, especially Poodles. Brick seems to find poodles to be deeply suspicious. Maybe she is jealous of their curls?
But honestly, I was incredibly happy with how she handled everything. She really tried to please us, and I had several different people take her into the ring so she could get comfortable being handled by different people. She took it all in stride and learned that apparently there are multiple people in this world who might ask her to behave.
And then she decided to make the weekend even better — **Brick earned all 3 of her competition wins!
Now she is just chasing the points she needs to finish her championship.
For a young girl who had only been here since the first week of September, I couldn't have asked for much more. She showed, she learned, she listened, she tried her heart out... and yes, she occasionally exercised her right to free speech. 😂
I am so proud of this sweet, special girl and excited to see what the future holds for her.
**Thank you, Amarilla, for raising such an amazing girl and trusting me with her. ❤️**
