Rum River Wirehairs is offering 2 or 3 litters a year, using a proven bloodline that features some of the best bloodlines within the breed. Our dogs are expected to have great drive and will be loaded with natural ability. The dogs are excellent swimmers making a morning duck hunt or an afternoon of pheasant hunting a great success. Dogs have shown great retrieving desire, and are all around very

easy to train. Dogs desire is to please their owner which makes them fun to train. We have been breeding German Wirehairs for over 10 years, and have built a solid bloodline foundation. These pups are bred to the Max, taken consideration to make great family dogs that will exceed in the field. We have brought bloodlines in from all over the country and world to continue this great breed.

This is an announcement we have been waiting two years to make. So excited to say Maja pups are on the way!! Our amazing Pudelpointer Maja we imported from Sweden will be having her first litter this fall. These are going to be some fun pups, fantastic imported bloodlines, proper build, coat, and temperament.

Maja’s mom just became the Sweden Show Champion, the first Pudelpointer to ever win the award.

If you are looking for a Pudelpointer, amazing family dog, and strong hunter you won’t find a better pairing in the US.

On another exciting note Paige our wirehair female went into heat also, same day as Maja. We will also have Paige and Jaguar pups. Jaguar is throwing top tier wirehair pups, Serbia import, far superior bloodlines to what you find in the US. These will be high drive pups.

So fun watching these pups grow and start to show personality. Beautiful litter, repeat breeding, multiple pups have done great in NAVHDA testing and will have the best attitudes for the home and be great family members.
