🐾💨 SKUNK BATH EMERGENCY! 💨🐾

Sweet Hudson had a little run-in with one of those smelly critters this morning! 😂🦨 His mom called for an emergency skunk bath, and of course we got him taken care of!

Hudson got a de-skunk bath + hypoallergenic bath and I’m happy to say… the skunk smell is GONE! 🙌🏼✨

I definitely have the magic shampoo to get that nasty smell off our pups! Now Hudson is back to smelling like flowers instead of a skunk! 🌸😂

He was such a good boy and is one happy, fresh-smelling pup! 💙

Intel stopped in for her regular Bath/Deshed Package, and just like always, she was an absolute sweetheart! 🩵 She’ll even jump right into the tub when she gets here because she knows it’s time to get pampered! 🛁🐾

She definitely loves getting all that extra undercoat out and leaving feeling fresh, clean, and so much more comfortable! 🥰✨

Starting in October, Mallards Mutts will be offering ONE Saturday a month! 🙌

Our first Saturday will be:
📅 October 17th
⏰ 8:30 AM – Close

This is a great option for those who have a hard time making weekday appointments! 🐶✂️

Spots will be limited, so be sure to book ahead! 💙🐾

More Saturday dates will be announced soon! 🦆🐾

Our new hours will be:

Meet Blue! 💙🐾

This handsome boy is here for his second visit, and I have to say… WOW! What a difference! 🥹 He is getting SO much better at getting pampered, and I couldn’t be more proud of him!

For this visit, Blue received a hypoallergenic treatment to help with his skin. 🛁✨

Blue wears a muzzle because he can snap unexpectedly. He struggles with fear aggression and aggression, which means I have to stay calm, confident, patient, and completely on point with him. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve to be pampered! ❤️

With 10+ years of experience working with and training dogs—including hunting dogs—I’ve learned how important it is to understand a dog’s behavior, know when to correct when necessary, and most importantly, not overreact. Dogs can pick up on our emotions, and staying calm and confident can make such a huge difference.

The first time Blue came in, we couldn’t even get water, shampoo, brushing, or the blow dryer near him without him becoming extremely overwhelmed. 😔

But LOOK AT HIM NOW! 🥹💙

This time, Blue did AMAZING! I was even able to take his muzzle off for a little while, and he did so well! He’s truly a sweet boy—he just needed someone willing to understand him, work with him, and give him the confidence and patience he needed. 🐾

I am SO happy and proud of the progress this sweet boy is making! Watching him become more comfortable and trusting during his spa days is exactly why I love what I do. 🥰

Here at Mallards Mutts Grooming Service, I’m not afraid to work with dogs who have fear, anxiety, or aggression. Every dog deserves a chance to feel safe, understood, and pampered. 💙

They don’t call me the dog whisperer for nothing! 😂🐶💙
