What does a day in the life of a dog trainer look like? It looks like a day with a 1 1/2 year old Labradoodle named Piper, a 12 week old Keeshond named Guido, and a 11 month old Standard Schnauzer named Frida!

Super proud of Watson and the progress he has made. Watson is reactive on walks when a person or dog passes by. The solution is to reward the absence of the aggression from a distance. This way, we reward Watson for a nice sit stay rather than yell at him for barking/lunging. 👏🏻

Walking our dog, Cooper next to pups, Redington and Ginger accomplishes two things. Red and Ginger, who were initially afraid of Cooper, have a chance to get to know him. And Cooper can show both of them how fun it is to meet new dogs!

Socialization is the most important thing you can do for a puppy. Piper has made trips to pet stores, big box stores, coffee shops, and the courthouse square. Socialization needs to be positive… take your puppy everywhere! Way to go, Piper!

I have been able to successfully train many of my New Jersey dog training families virtually over the past year since my move to Arizona. The results are amazing. I feel like I am right there in the room. These families and their dogs have been very loyal to me.

I have trained dogs for 30 years in New Jersey. Now I am ready to start training dogs here in Prescott, Arizona. I have been lucky to have worked strictly by word of mouth for all of those years in NJ. This is the first time I will use a page for my dog training business. I am excited, it will be fun!
