🐾✨ Welcome, Eloise! ✨🐾

This sweet long-haired Dachshund joined us for a Board & Train program to help work through some anxiety and build confidence in the world around her. While Eloise came to us very nervous and unsure, she is already making incredible progress just one week into her stay! 💕

Through daily training sessions, gentle exposure, and lots of positive experiences, she’s beginning to realize that new people, dogs, and environments aren’t so scary after all. One of our favorite milestones so far? She’s now comfortably spending time around our dogs without immediately running off to hide! 🥹🐶

Confidence-building is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Board & Train programs aren’t only for reactive or aggressive dogs—they can also be life-changing for dogs who need extra support learning that the world is a safe, fun place. With the right guidance, structure, and understanding of canine behavior and psychology, even the most timid dogs can learn to thrive. 🌎❤️

We are so proud of Eloise and can’t wait to watch her confidence continue to blossom over the next few weeks! 🌸✨

🐾 Meet Grover!!🥰🤠

Grover is a 5-month-old Cowboy Corgi, is spending two weeks with us in our Puppy Head Start Program and is already making great progress! 🎉

One of Grover's goals is learning how to be a polite and confident shop dog at his owner's business. Today he had a blast practicing his manners with Chris at Prescott True Value Hardware! 🛠️🐶

From meeting new people to staying focused in a busy environment, Grover is building the skills he'll need to succeed both at home and on the job. We're proud of this little cowboy! ⭐🐾

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Robyn Abels. Although we only knew her for a relatively short time, it was immediately clear how much of her life she dedicated to helping others through service dogs. Over the years, she trained, placed, and supported countless dogs that went on to change lives for people living with disabilities and other challenges.

Over the last several months, Chris had the privilege of working alongside Robyn and supporting some of her service dog program as she navigated health challenges of her own. It wasn't something we talked about publicly very often—it was simply a project we believed in and a cause that mattered to all of us. 🥰🐾🤗

While service dog training isnt the primary focus of our work, we shared Robyn's belief in the incredible bond between people and dogs and the life-changing support these dogs can provide.

The Golden Retriever service dog community has lost a passionate advocate, mentor, and friend. Robyn’s legacy will live on through the dogs she trained, the handlers she served, and the many lives she touched along the way.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, clients, and everyone whose life was made better because of her dedication.
Rest easy, Robyn. Your work mattered. I can imagine her smiling and doing training with Cedar who is on this photo wit her ♥️🥰🐶🙏✨🐾

Quick video from a short session Dakota and Chris had this morning before they head out for the day.
Dakota is a young Australian Shepherd here for a 2 week puppy head start program.

In a puppy program, our focus is simple, super solid basics. Engagement, communication, and making learning fun.
