We have been a little quiet lately, but we have some incredible dogs available for adoption.

This is Koda. He is showing off how good he was at the vet. He is the epitome of happy. I’ve been fostering him for over a year and he is such a lover. His favorite thing in the whole world to do is to eat pears with his best friend Pablo. Apply to adopt. Spotteddogrescue.com

Koda is the kind of dog who finds joy in everything. Seeing you, playing, running, eating, just being part of the day. He’s been doing the sweetest respectful play bows with our 12 year old alpha heeler and fits in beautifully with the right dogs.

He loves pets, snuggles, and being close to his people. Truly one of the happiest dogs you’ll meet.

He doesn’t love every stranger right away, but with calm, respectful introductions he does great. He’s done really well with multiple pet sitters who took the time to meet him where he’s comfortable.

Koda is pure joy in dog form.

It’s finally spring—long walks, sunshine, and time spent outside again.
Everything feels a little better with a dog by your side.

If you’ve been thinking about it… maybe now’s the time.

Koda’s festive ear prosthetic debut 🐣
Not his favorite… but he’ll do just about anything for treats.

Koda has been with us for a long time, and he’s so ready for a home of his own. He’s a really good dog—loyal, smart, and full of personality. He just takes time with new people and does best in a calm, low-traffic home.

Once you’re in his circle, you’re in. And it’s the best place to be.
He deserves that person.

Blair the blur is still looking for her people.

This girl has come a long way from the shut-down mama we first met. These days, she’s flying around the yard with zoomies, playing with her foster siblings, and starting to really enjoy being a dog.

She’s built confidence through other dogs and would do best in a home with a friendly, playful companion to keep that momentum going.

Blair can still be a little unsure at times, but her progress has been real and steady. She just needs a home that will continue to give her patience, structure, and encouragement.

Watching her choose joy has been the best part. Now she just needs someone to give her that next step — a forever home.

This sweet 3-year-old German Shepherd is in urgent need of a new home due to a sudden change in his owner’s living situation.

• German Shepherd
• Described as a really good dog
• Previously lived with a cat
• Has not been around other dogs
• Currently being kept separate from other animals in foster

He was taken in quickly to keep him safe, but this is a temporary situation and we are hoping to find him a stable, long-term home as soon as possible.

🏡 Ideal Home:
A home that can provide structure, patience, and proper introductions if there are other pets. Experience with the breed is a plus.

Oliver (formerly Chicky) — how is this cutie still available for adoption?

Oliver is thriving in his foster home and has come such a long way since leaving the shelter. He absolutely loves his foster mom and has bonded beautifully with his foster dog sibling. Having another dog around gives him confidence, and he would truly thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion.

Oliver is still a sensitive boy and new people or environments can feel scary at first, but with patience and consistency he continues to make wonderful progress. Watching him grow more comfortable and start to show his personality has been incredibly rewarding.

He’s looking for a patient adopter who will let him move at his own pace and another dog in the home to help show him the ropes.

Once he feels safe, Oliver is a sweet, loyal little companion who just wants to belong.

Meet adoptable Mavis.

Mavis is a sweet, silly Cane Corso mix who is looking for the right family to call her own. She’s a big girl with an even bigger personality and loves being around her people.

Because of her size and energy, we are looking for a home without small children and with a family who is comfortable with large, working-breed dogs. Mavis will thrive with confident owners who understand the needs of powerful breeds and can provide structure, guidance, and lots of love.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion and have experience with large breeds, Mavis may be the perfect match for you.

Please message us or apply through Spotted Dog Rescue to learn more about Mavis and how to meet her.

Koda is truly one of the sweetest dogs you’ll meet, and our longest resident!

He loves his people deeply and wants nothing more than to be in their company. He’s obedient, steady, and happy — the kind of dog who settles at your feet and is simply content being near you.

Koda thrives in a calm, low-traffic home. He is devoted to his circle and does not welcome strangers or a lot of coming and going. He’s perfectly happy hiking trails or walking sidewalks with his people, but he isn’t a dog who wants unfamiliar visitors in his space.

He would do best as a one- to two-person companion in a predictable environment where he can bond closely and feel secure.

Koda did experience an accident in his past that left him with one ear and a few scars, but they don’t define him. He’s still the same sweet, loyal boy we all fell in love with — and if anything, his resilience just makes him that much more special.

If you’re looking for a devoted, well-behaved best friend and can offer a peaceful home, Koda may be your perfect match.
