Summer may be winding down, but your pets probably didn’t get the memo. From long walks and backyard adventures to camping trips, dog park play dates, and all those extra hours outside, they’ve been busy making the most of the season.

As we head into fall, it’s a good time to take stock! Are vaccines up to date? Are flea, tick, and parasite preventatives still on board? Have you noticed any changes in weight, energy, appetite, skin, or behavior? A little end of summer check in can help set your pet up for a happy, healthy season ahead! 🍂

🐾 Happy Wellness Wednesday 🐾

Pets are pretty good at keeping their own schedules: breakfast, nap, snack, zoomies, repeat!

That’s part of why subtle changes can be easy to miss. Maybe your cat is drinking a little more water. Your dog isn’t quite as excited about the stairs. Their weight has crept up, their breath smells different, or they’re just… not quite themselves.

None of these things necessarily mean something is wrong, but they’re worth paying attention to. Your observations at home are an important part of your pet’s care, and sometimes the smallest changes give us the biggest clues.

So this week, take a minute to notice your pet’s normal. You know them better than anyone!

We will be closed on Monday, September 7th in honor of Labor Day and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday. If you need to pick up medications, be sure to do so before 4pm on Saturday.
