eate a true sense of place and community. Our goal is to encourage people to develop a lifelong appreciation of the processes that support life, and to offer wisdom on how to steward them sustainably. To do this we offer this space for collaborative learning about social and ecological responsibility. The Hands-On Sustainability Program offers one-time and multiple visit field trip experiences for studentsof all ages to come and learn about applied sustainability and creating community in a participatory way. Activities include an interactive farm tour and seasonally appropriate hands-on activities and lessons on specific sustainability and ecology themes in these areas: ecological gardening, natural building, restoration and watershed ecology, and ecological living skills. All tours operate on sliding scale basis. Suggested donation of $5.00 per participant.

Hey pals 👋
BLOOM is this Saturday ! Woot woot. We cannot wait to gather with everyone and see new and old friends come together. This is a volunteer led event and fundraiser ! How awesome is that?

All ages ! Tickets will be available at the door. The link for tickets is in our bio as well.

Weather is supposed to be quiet warm this weekend ! Bring clothing that is comfortable to you and water flask to stay hydrated. Bring a comfy blanket or campchairs to sit and watch some performances (: The land here tends to stay a bit cooler and we have areas of shade.

We encourage folks to arrive early to catch the first performance !

Hello friends 🌷 As some of you have heard and seen, we are bringing Bloom back to life at the end of this month. This is going to be a volunteer led event ! Let’s start to spread the word and reshare the flyer 💗💗
We invite you to come and spend the afternoon with friends and strangers on the land to make new memories, dance, and share stories and smiles with one another.

For many years TLC has held many events that prioritize land based/ heart centered/ activist/ community organizing/ family events at little cost or sliding scales. For this reason we are going to be fundraising so we can keep these sorts of things happening !! Tickets will go out soon, sliding scale & volunteer exchange opportunities will be available.

We are celebrating 20 years of being on this land 💗 if you are an old farmie or friend of the land we invite you to come visit for some storytelling.

Community Potluck, Saturday, April 26th 6-9 pm.

Come on over, experience spring on the farm and join in a community potluck. Friends, neighbors, volunteers, and farm-curious folks are all welcome to come get to know the folks and the land. Every month is different, but it’s always a good time!

During our spring cleaning we unearthed a lot of old wood from various projects, so we’re going to end the evening with a big bonfire to celebrate spring and the coming of May Day/Beltane. You are invited to bring songs and stories to share around the fire.

TLC Farm Social Justice History Movie Night: Pickaxe, Thurs. April 24th, 7-9 pm
Our Earth Month movie is Pickaxe - a documentary following the 1995-96 campaign to save the Warner Creek watershed from lawless logging. In this moment when the Trump Administration is undermining bedrock environmental laws and issued an Executive Order to increase logging on National Forests, it feels important to remember the fights that have gone before and take inspiration from them. We’ll be joined by an activist who was part of the Warner Creek fight to talk more about that campaign and what we can do now to protect forests.

TLC Farm is located at 11640 SW Boones Ferry Road, Portland. The movie will be shown in the yurt.
