Possibly the last packing parties of the year! Or at least the last ones that we will need to throw before we can launch our 2025 catalog…which is quite late this year (sorry!!) due to a variety of reasons.

We are doing our best, and we could totally use the help of our community in order to get these seeds packed, and delivered out to local shops ASAP! It’s planting time for some early crops, and I know folks are chomping at the bit to get some rhythm seed packs 🤙🏼

Come thru Bridgespace and help us pack seeds for our 2025 catalog so we can finally get our website up and get our seeds into local shops!!

It’s been an insane winter and we are super behind, so we could really use all the help we can get on this final push to get our seeds ready.

All this ☀️ has got folks thinking about planting already, and we need to get our seeds out there ASAP

I’ll bring some snacks for everyone, and get the sound system rockin so we can bathe in positive vibrations alongside the seeds 🔊🔊🔊

Join us this upcoming Saturday 3/8 for a day of fruit tree digging! For those that remember, we planted almost 100 baby fruit trees at the farm last year in a mini-nursery.

The trees came as a donation from and they were bareroot and suffering, on the brink of death. We planted them all on earth day, thanks to the help of our amazing volunteers, and to our surprise nearly every single tree survived and grew beautifully through the season.

Now it’s time to lift them while they’re still dormant, and get them re-homed to our friends at and . It’s gonna be a day full of digging, so bring a nice spade shovel if you have one!! Looking forward to seeing you all there 😊

Btw if you help us dig for a long time, there might even be a free fruit tree leftover for you to take home at the end of the day 😉 they’re mostly cherries and plums 🍒

The first opportunity to get your hands dirty with Rhythm Seed this year! Sunday afternoon 12-4, we would love to see you there, and it looks like the weather is going to cooperate ☀️☀️☀️

Even in the middle of winter there is plenty of work to do to prepare for spring planting. We will be pruning back dormant plants, lifting some perennials that need to be transplanted, cleaning up the greenhouse, and moving some mulch around in pathways!

If you’ve never been to the farm before, it’s located at 6841 NE Prescott St, in the back part of the lot through the brown farm gates. Do not go to the white house at 6825, someone lives there and it’s not the farm site!

All are welcome, but please leave any pets at home or in your car - we will have two farm dogs running around and they are a bit territorial towards other animals.

Snacks and Hot Tea provided 💗 feel free to bring something to share with folx, or just bring your beautiful self.

Wow, we are so honored by the generosity of our community!! Thank you for supporting local seed sovereignty and the work that we do 🙏🏼

This is the most we have ever raised in our annual fundraiser and I am so full of joy from the relief of knowing that I will be able to hire help this spring. Y’all have no idea how much this means, for real!

I’ve been dreaming Rhythm Seed into existence for three years, working tirelessly to build the organization alongside volunteers and apprentices…but this will be the first year I am actually able to hire someone to manage the farm 🥹 and it’s all thanks to this amazingly supportive community 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Y’all are awesome, and I’m so excited to be entering 2025 with this momentum!

We had 19 new members sign up during the fundraiser, huge shoutout to those folx who are now monthly supporters of the farm ✊🏼 yes! This is what solidarity looks like, and it’s beautiful 🌻

Meanwhile, in the background we are cranking away at germination tests and getting our website updated so that we can release our 2025 catalog….more on that coming soon! 🫘🫘🫘
