Partner Spotlight: Northeast Emergency Food Program

This week is Hunger Week at Please consider sharing, following, and giving to this incredible organization in our Cully neighborhood.

Rhythm Seed Farm and share a deep commitment to food sovereignty and social justice work.

Northeast Emergency Food Program (NEFP) distributes a supply of nutritious groceries to our neighbors in need—frequently valued at over $250 per visit.

They offer a unique self-service shopping experience, allowing guests to choose fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy, bread, meat, and more. There are no quantity restrictions on most pantry items, and signs in seven languages encourage guests to “take what you need and leave enough for others.”

In addition to meeting urgent needs, NEFP works to develop community-driven solutions that secure access to adequate, affordable, and healthy food. Their work is grounded in the belief that nutritious food is a basic human need and a foundation for a healthy life full of possibility.
