Pet Butler Portland is proudly working with BAAM rescue to highlight some of their adoptable dogs. Week 6! 🥰
Meet Melly! 🧡
Melly’s previous person abandoned her- no explanation. And somehow, this happy, people-loving, dog-friendly girl ended up on a shelter's euthanasia list because there was no more room at the Inn. Thankfully she was pulled to safety with just HOURS to spare, by the heros that don't wear capes- BAMM Rescue! Now, she’s been waiting for over a YEAR for someone to choose her- hasn’t even had a meet and greet yet 😭
ABOUT MELLY:
💉Current on vaccines and Microchipped!
🐾 Dog friendly? Absolutely! Love’s playgroups, running, and making furry friends.
❤️ People friendly? You bet! She may play hard to get for a sec, but then she’s your loyal, affectionate bestie.
🌼 Personality? Happy, goofy, playful, and delightfully ridiculous.. all of the volunteers at her prior shelter ADORED her! She loves adventures, but is also happy lounging on a bench and judging the neighbors like a retired grandpa. 😂
🧸 Kids? Older kiddos (8+) would be her best match. She’s not mean—just 69 pounds, with the self-awareness of a 10-pound lapdog.
🤷♀️ I'm easily redirected and eager to keep learning!

📍 Melly is currently being fostered in Rochester, WA, just north of Centralia. Meet-and-greets can be arranged. Around Thanksgiving, she'll transfer back to the Portland area, so her location may soon change faster than her ears flop in a breeze!
