I don't generally answer the phone at midnight, but last night I did.
Two young men were on a Rail Road Bridge when they heard an Animal in Distress.
The sounds were coming from inside one of the narrow pilings.
Aiming their camera at the sound, they saw, what looked like a cat or kittens, about 15' down. . .
They called the police, who directed them to contact PAWS. . .
* I would like to pause for a moment to let that sink in. . .
I LOVE the expectation that we, as a team, can do anything.
After the sun rose, we began working on a rescue plan.
It took most of the day, but I'm glad to report: there is a Happy Ending.

- and most definitely, The Boys who didn't look the other way when they heard an Animal in Distress.
** Rail Road Bridges are Private Property and can be very dangerous.

This is one AMAZING puppy.
All puppies are cute.
This boy, Teddy Swims, is adorable and Super Smart.
He is eager to please, like most pups, but already walks nicely on a leash, sits when he's asked, and is (almost) completely potty trained.
. . . Did I mention Puppy Breath?
It is the Elixir of Youth . . . Her or before it runs out.

This is one Gorgeous Cool Dog.
He is a "Leppard Dog" aka "Catahoula" who is about 2 years old.
This pup definitely turns heads everywhere he goes.
Having said that, he is young and needs an good "parent" to teach him about being a Family Member and how to play nicely with others.
When we talk about "Dog Training" it is more about giving us the skills to communicate clearly, and in a way that dogs understand.
*For anyone who Adopts or Fosters this boy, D&G Training has offered a Training Session.

~ This is Poppy currently his inside our house, his 7 months old Bouvier de Flanders pure breed male not neutered. His good in kids, old dogs but not sure about the cat. He’s very sweet, lively and loves to be around with people.

We are exploring new ways to help animals, and the people who Love them.
We are not quite ready to launch. . . But the focus will be on giving away "Ugly Pots and Free Plants", in exchange for a "suggested donation.
We will accept donations of Ugly Pots, Plant Stands and other Gardening Sundries.
There will be some type of Jury System put into place, but currently we are "Flying by the Seat of our Pants"
If you would like to join this Team, let us know.
If you Ugly Pots or Plants let's see some photos.
*we are currently limiting the plants to Edible, Medicinal and or Native to our area.
Broken Pots are OK. Plastic containers are case by case, until we get a good foundation established.
Gardening Tools, Tables, Chairs. . . Bring it on.
