UPDATE - The dogs are safe, for now, and are awaiting assessment by a Veterinarian.
The best thing, for these dogs, may be to go straight into a home, or segue through a Breed Specific Rescue, who can offer more insightful advice.
They, along with their human, have been living between a Rock and a Hard Place. They have a lot to learn, and transitions to make. . .
Wherever they land, hooking up with a good Dog Trainer is important
We call it "Dog" training, but it's for us.

A Rural Police Departments is asking for help with (7) dogs.
As of now, the information we have is that the dogs are 3-6 years old. They are Blue Heeler, Akita and Heeler/Akita mix.
The officers on scene say that the dogs are Caged and Tethered, possible mal-nourished . . . but they appear to be nice dogs.
The officers are serving a Search a warrant and need a place for the dogs to go.

This little mama was amongst the 25+ cats who were rescued from an apartment in SE Portland.
She, and her companions, are in the process of being Vaccinated, treated for Parasites, and Spayed/ Neutered.
