The sounds of fireworks can be exciting for us, but for pets, it’s a different story! Here are some tips to keep your furry pals safe and stress-free this holiday:

🐾 Stay Inside: Keep pets indoors during the fireworks display. A quiet, dark room with a comfy spot can help them feel secure.

🐾 Secure ID: Ensure your pet has a collar with ID tags, or better yet, a microchip—just in case they get scared and run off.

🐾 Create a Safe Space: Set up a cozy area with their favorite blanket or bed. Close windows to reduce noise, and consider calming music or TV to drown out the sound.

🐾 Distractions Help: Toys, treats, or even a tasty chew can help keep them occupied and distracted from the noise.

Please bring your bunny in today for their annual exam and RHDV vaccine! My bunny Edmund is protected from RHDV due to his vaccine!🐇

RHDV is a viral disease that causes sudden death in rabbits. Signs of the disease may include respiratory or neurological symptoms and bloody nasal discharge.

The virus is highly contagious among rabbit populations. It can spread through contact with infected rabbits, meat, fur, or materials that come into contact with them. RHDV poses no human health risk; the virus only infects rabbits.
