A special birthday shout out to Ella! She turned an amazing 14 years old today!!! 🥳🥳

Ella has graced us with her presence here at the clinic for almost 7 years. A couple knee surgeries and a current battle with cancer doesn’t seem to be slowing her down at all. She still acts like she’s 4!

One of the things we love most about doing this job is getting to know our patients and clients so well. We see most of them so often they end up becoming almost like a part of our family.

Finnegan and his moms Charlotte and Pat are no exception. Sweet Finnegan was a gem of a dog: sweet as pie, quiet, calm and a joy to work with. He was a staff favorite and anytime he came in over the last almost 5 years, there was always definitely a squeal or two of someone singing out his name in excitement.

He had a too early passing this morning from an unknown sickness that took him in just a few months. He passed away on his own in the yard in his favorite spot almost like he knew his moms were going to say goodbye to him today. We mourned with Charlotte today at her other dog’s appointment which I think she needed. We are grateful and thankful to be able to be there for her and to share the love of her wonderful dog.

We’ll miss you Finny ❤️

Happy New Years Eve!

Reminding you all we are closed tomorrow and Friday and will be back open again in the New Year on the 5th!

Thank you to everyone who brought their dog or cat in to see us this year. We met a lot of new faces and look forward to meeting many more next year! Have a safe and fun time! See you next year!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from everyone here at Back On Track! ❤️💚🤍

We will be closed this week on Wednesday the 24th and Friday the 26th to give our staff and doc a much needed break. We will be open next week on the 29th and 30th and then will be closed again for New Years until the 4th!

We hope you all have a safe and wonderful time. Thanks for all the pups and cats we got to meet and treat this year. And thanks to one of our clients for sending this super cute photo of her herd of greyhounds with Santa!

It’s not every day you’re a dog and you have a Sweet 16! Today was Daisy’s 16th birthday and she just so happened to also be visiting Dr Shaw.

Her parents threw her a mini birthday party during her acupuncture, complete with decorations, and some treats for humans and some homemade “doggie ice cream” for Daisy and her dog sister Jasmine to enjoy during the appointment.

We lost a good one today 💔💔

Abigail was one of our favorites here at Back On Track. Her mom would drop her off usually once a week to hang out and get treatment. For more than 6.5 years she was a staple here and part of our Puggy Crew. She lived to be 16.5 years old thanks to the dedicated care of her mom, and even when her back legs stopped working she still looked to the brighter side of life (treats of course 😆).

She was never afraid to tell the other dogs what for and that she was the queen of the clinic. Most of the other dogs would avoid her if possible and gave her the respect she deserved.

We are devastated by her passing and will miss her very much. RIP Abby ❤️
