Everything feels right having a good team of competitive mares on the trailer again✨️ Fox is entering those golden teenage years where she is almost picture perfect consistency every time, she got us a nice pay day on Saturday with her efforts. Then baby Barbara ran outdoors for the first time let alone in the dark and she far exceeded our expectations by blazing a run and being right on Fox's tail being just out of the money in a gigantic class! What a great start to the summer run☀️

C**t starting sometimes makes us question our life's choices but its moments like this that its all worth it and why we do what we do! 2 years ago we started these fillys ( Famousstreakinbarbie "Barbara" and Indys Last Dance "Pheobe") fast forward to this weekend and they BOTH placed at The Panty Raid Futurity 🥹🙌! This is such a full circle moment and the vision that we have with every single horse we get in, we truly want to set them up to succeed at whatever they are meant to do❤️

We had some straight up bad luck this weekend but Barbara still got a piece of the pie in the open and futurity this past Saturday at the Buttercup Futurity in Gifford IL🙌 She surpassed a small LTE goal we had for the weekend and we will continue chipping away at the big end of year goal🏔⚒️

Here is the UPDATED showbill for our May 16th - 18th show. We changed a few things and increased the added money. This was supposed to be a Supershow for IBRA, but we are unfortunately no longer able to be sanctioned on Saturday and Sunday. This is a BOTB qualifier on Saturday for Peewee, Open and Youth. We are sanctioned on Friday only with IBRA IN (pending MI/OH) as well as NBHA IN 01, and 06 all weekend. We also sanctioned with NFRA, and this is a DOUBLE point show for Y'all! Please check out the added money as of right now those totals could increase depending upon our sponsorships! We are so very excited for this show. We are also trying to get it BBR approved. Stay tuned for possible 3-day average awards and/or side pot! We are so happy to be partnered up with LaGrange Co. Horse & Pony Club!! Make sure you check out the Cowboy Kitchen for FOOD/Drink all weekend. They have some great food!

For a big chunk of my adult life I've wanted to get into the futurity world and this year I FINALLY am able to start my journey. We entered our first real deal futurity this past weekend and I am hooked. I am so proud of our filly for running only a second off even with mistakes against some of the best in the business. The level of professionalism in this sector of barrel racing is unmatched. I cannot wait to keep learning this industry🤍

First run is in the books and we couldn't be more proud of Barbara and how she handled herself today! Even with some bobbles and then some nerves on my end which resulted in some jockeying mistakes we ended up 4th 1D Futurity and then rolled to the open to be a second off and get 3rd 3D against some tough horses. Can't wait to get some more runs under our belt to smooth things out this winter and get ready for all of the big spring futurities💫

Who doesn't love a good 60 day transformation!? Putting the pounds on an underweight huge 2 year old who is still rapidly growing has definitely been a challenge but gosh for only 2 months we couldn't be happier with how he's looking. He will be a completely different horse by spring!
