At Anderson Kennel Club today, we had some success in the classes.

I didn't stay for NMDC, as it was going to be after All breed BIS.
Only entered this one day.

All dogs age...some do it rapidly, some gracefully. The years just slip by.
GCH CH Regal Romulus Von Wolff,ML became 13 years old yesterday.

Rom is aging gracefully...still has a good spring in his step and very little grey hair. He and GCH Keno are my house dogs who spend most of their time on my couch or front porch. He enjoys his life, from all I can see.

He sired a litter in late 2025...his last, I suppose.
He has many offspring to be proud of, 15 litters during his lifetime, and has contributed greatly to the success of VWK's Miniature Longhairs.

As celebration, Rom got a spa treatment and a big dish of Orange Swirl ice cream.

Update!
Rimini is now known as Remy( The Little Chef in Disney's Ratatouille!). His AKC name will be
"Von Wolff & Linguini's Little Chef, MS"

Eric says Remy is doing sends and recalls, and listens very well! He waits for Eric to put his lead on so he can go out. Allie, the lemon and white Bassett Hound is his best friend. They are nearly inseparable. Eric is recovering from a back injury, so they are doing what they can for now.

Yesterday, after a friendly, engaging couple hours of conversation, my Rimini was chosen to go home with Eric Reese to Florida, and to be a part of the pack that he and Jill Roberts share!

If you are in AKC Agility, these names may be familiar to you. Jill is an Agility Judge and both are Agility Trial Secretaries. They were referred to me by Christine Ponzo. They have seen and LOVED Nitro, so we hope that Rimini is as talented as his Uncle Nitro. Rimini's dam, Azalea, is Nitro's full sister(different litters).

This is about the most exciting turn of events that VWK has experienced in many years! I am so looking forward to seeing Nitro out competing, and now, maybe Rimini will follow in the sport! Nitro's brother, Rocky, is also training in Agility in Florida with ToniLynne Sharp.

For now, his name is Rimini...I will update with his AKC registered name as soon as Jill and Eric decide on it. :)

VON WOLFF'S NITRO INJECTED DIP N DOT, MSD MX MXB MXJ MJS OF has completed his Master Agility Championship!!

Under the skilled hand of his owner/trainer, Christine Ponzo, Nitro has achieved this awesome level of accomplishment!

Christine wrote to me "We are hoping this is just the first of many to come!!!
Can’t tell you just how loved he is… ( he is truly my heart Dog 💕)
I’m so happy that he has overcome some of his challenges in agility training to become a champion! It just took some extra patience and love to get him here.."

And I can't tell you how proud I am of this team!!

I want to thank Judge Ms.Elizabeth Muthard for the Best Of Variety win on July 16, 2026. My handsome Dapple Longhair dog,
CH VON WOLFF'S HUZZAH!, MLD, now only needs a major and a few points to finish his Grand Championship :)
