BEEF AVAILABLE: now is the perfect time to clear the cobwebs out of your freezer and fill it with beef for the impending winter months.

Is there anything better than a big pot of beefy chili when the temperatures drop and leaves are falling?

Beef will be taken to the butcher this week and ready for pickup after October 24th, just in time for a chili cook-off for Halloween!

We have one quarter beef available, going to the butcher on August 21st. Beef would be ready for pickup early September.

Benefits to freezer beef:
You get to select how your meat is cut.

You always have beef in the freezer, you’re not at the mercy of the grocery store inventory.

The price per pound is vastly cheaper than at the grocery — especially the specialty cuts, like steaks and roasts.

On average, Americans eat approximately 57 pounds of beef per person in a year — so for a family of four a quarter of beef would last approximately six months. Once you’ve purchased a quarter of beef you’ll have a better gauge for how long this amount of meat will last you and your family.

At Camden Cattle once you’ve purchased beef off our farm, we reserve that amount of beef for you the following year. You can always remove yourself from the list or request more — but you can count on us for your family’s beef needs.
