🌟 Exciting Partnership Announcement! 🌟

Dream Riders of Kentucky is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Orphan Care Alliance (OCA) — a nonprofit dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and families across Southern Indiana and Kentucky.

Through OCA’s scholarship program, children and teens impacted by foster care and adoption can now participate in therapeutic services that may not be covered by insurance. This partnership helps ensure that every child who needs the healing power of horses has access to it.

We are honored to work alongside local organizations who share our commitment to strengthening families and supporting youth in our community.

💔 It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Lady earlier today.

Just three short weeks ago, Lady retired from her role at Dream Riders of Kentucky after many years of faithful service. During her time with us, she touched the lives of hundreds of riders, providing confidence, comfort, healing, and countless memories. Her gentle spirit and unwavering patience made her a favorite among riders, volunteers, and staff alike.

We are forever grateful for the years we were blessed to have Lady as part of our program and for the incredible impact she made on so many lives. Her legacy will continue to live on through the riders she helped and the hearts she touched.

We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Benny Clark and Paula Hedden for giving Lady the perfect retirement home. In her final weeks, she was surrounded by two horse companions and all the love, attention, treats, and snuggles a horse could ever want. We find comfort in knowing she spent her last days cherished and adored.

Run free, sweet Lady. Thank you for everything you gave to our Dream Riders family. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. ❤️🐴

Yesterday, our outreach team of dedicated staff and volunteers loaded up two very special visitors, Pixie and Dolly, and headed to Hermitage Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility for a day filled with smiles, laughter, and connection.

There’s something truly magical about the joy our miniature ponies bring to residents. From warm hugs and gentle nuzzles to stories shared and memories rekindled, Pixie and Dolly have a way of brightening hearts and creating meaningful moments.

Thank you to the residents and staff at Hermitage for welcoming us. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces reminds us why these visits are so important. ❤️🐴

We are grateful for our volunteers and staff who help make these special outreach opportunities possible!

We will be holding a staff and volunteer meeting on Thursday, June 4th at 5:30 PM. Please make every effort to attend as we will be discussing important procedures and safety standards for our programs.

A huge THANK YOU to Haley for bringing her parents along to help tackle the barn attic! 👏

After 3 people and 3 hours of hard work, the attic has officially been cleaned out and organized! 🐴🧹

We threw away years of clutter, found new homes for items we no longer needed, and now everything has a place and is easy to find. It was definitely a dirty job, and the pictures prove it! 😂

We are thankful for people willing to spend their day off helping make Dream Riders a better place for our riders, horses, volunteers, and community. Your hard work and support mean so much to us! ❤️

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

From all of us at Dream Riders of Kentucky, we are deeply grateful for the courage, service, and sacrifice of our fallen heroes. Their legacy lives on through the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to reflect, remember, and give thanks to those who gave everything for our country.

Monday night riders, no class tomorrow due to Memorial Day. Your Family Day will be June 8th!

To wrap up the session with a bang, we are hosting Family Day during every scheduled class time this week! This is the moment our riders have been working toward.

Skill Showcases: Watch your favorite riders demonstrate their newfound equestrian talents.

Prince Phillip Games: We’re bringing the fun back with these classic, high-energy mounted games!

Award Ceremony: Every rider will be honored with ribbons/medals to celebrate their hard work and progress.
