Today Dream Riders says a fond farewell to a longtime friend, our devoted farrier, Jerry, who has decided that it is time to retire. For well over 10 years Jerry has taken care of all the trimming and shoeing needs of our herd - everything from 1000+ pound horses to tiny mini’s.

There is no better way to spend a Friday afternoon than having the Owensboro Symphony string quartet out to play some classical favorites for our participants during class, and our horses love music too! Thank you for playing for us, what a wonderful partnership between music and horses!

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible patrons and the Owensboro Racing & Gaming team, we were able to raise over $8,000 for Dream Riders of Kentucky, Inc. through our on-site donation stations! 🎉

Dream Riders of Kentucky is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with special needs through therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted activities. 🐎❤️ Their mission creates magic for so many in our community—and now, thanks to you, that magic can grow even stronger.

Dream Riders is seeing an amazing metamorphosis this week. Our horses are changing colors! Peanut will soon be golden again and Katie has lost most of her grizzly bear brown hair - a whole bucket full today! Thank you to our amazing riders and volunteers for the care and love that they give to our wonderful equine partners

Dream Riders of Kentucky is introducing new programs and opportunities for the upcoming semester beginning on April 7.

Exciting news! Price drop! We have adjusted the price on our beginner riding lessons for the first session. What was originally $400 is now just $325. Please see below for more details on the program as well as an updated flyer!

Dream Riders is excited to share with you a brand new riding program kicking off soon!

We are expanding our classes for the first time ever and offering for a limited time only an able-bodied rider class. Class will be on Saturday mornings at 8:30 am. This will be an 8 week session and we are looking to get this program up and going as quickly as possible once we have enough volunteers and riders in place!
