🐾 Happy Animal Shelter Appreciation Week! 💚

This week, we're shining the spotlight on the incredible organization we call home, Providence Animal Center (PAC)!

Did you know that Fido Fixers is a program of Providence Animal Center?

Located in Media, Pennsylvania, PAC is a lifesaving animal center dedicated to giving animals brighter futures through adoption, veterinary care, and community outreach.

And their impact doesn't stop at Pennsylvania! As the home and national headquarters of Fido Fixers, PAC helps bring affordable spay and neuter services to underserved communities across the country through our network of 9 mobile surgical clinics.

We're incredibly proud to be part of an organization that isn't just saving lives today, but working to create a better future for animals everywhere.

This Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, we're celebrating the amazing people at Providence Animal Center who make lifesaving work possible, both locally and nationwide! 💚🐾

A recap of Providence Animal Center’s big day today at Subaru Park in Chester, PA. Thanks to a grant from Subaru of America, Inc. and ASPCA with the support of Rafferty Subaru, dozens of pets in need were able to receive spay/neuter surgeries onsite in PAC’s Fido van, essential vaccines and pet supplies at no cost. Thank you to our lifesaving community partners for believing in the importance of pet retention!

Remember Animal Protective League? ❤️
After a tornado devastated their shelter and clinic in June, a Fido Fixers van headed to Springfield, Illinois, to help keep their spay/neuter program running while they rebuild.
Well, look at them now! Since mid-July, APL has completed 727 spay/neuters aboard Fido!
We couldn’t be prouder to see our mobile clinic helping APL continue this important work for their community. 🐾

They’ve been adopted. Their families are waiting. But they can’t go home yet.

At LA Animal Services, dogs are finding great homes, but there’s another challenge happening behind the scenes. Adopted pets need to be spayed or neutered before they can leave, and limited surgical capacity can mean kennels filled with animals who already have families waiting for them.

That’s where our Fido Fixers partner, The Rescue Train, steps in.

They pull up to the shelter in their Fido Fixers mobile surgical clinic and get to work — spaying and neutering adopted pets so they can be cleared to leave the shelter and go home with their new families.

Think about the impact of that one day of surgery: kennels open up for animals who still need help, adopted pets get home faster, families get the pets they’ve been waiting for, and the shelter can keep moving animals through its doors.

This is exactly why mobile spay and neuter matters.

Sometimes a Fido van isn't just bringing surgery to a community. It's the final step between a shelter pet and home. 🐾

We are so proud of The Rescue Train and the incredible work happening aboard their Fido Fixers van in Los Angeles. This is real lifesaving teamwork in action.

1,000 surgeries and counting!

We’re so proud of our Fido partner, Planned PEThood of GA, for reaching this incredible milestone with their Fido Fixer! Their team has provided 1,000 spay and neuter surgeries for pets and community cats across Georgia.

This is exactly what Fido is all about: bringing care directly into communities and preventing pet overpopulation one surgery at a time.

Congratulations to the entire Planned PEThood team! Here’s to the next 1,000! 🚐🐾

🚐🐾 FIDO Reaches 1,000 Spay/Neuter Surgeries! 🎉

A major milestone for Planned PEThood’s mobile surgical program—and an even bigger impact for Georgia pets.

Since launching in Feb, FIDO has completed 1,000+ spay/neuter surgeries for:
🐶 Owned pets
🐱 Community cats
🏠 Shelter pets

By bringing high-quality, affordable spay/neuter services directly into communities, FIDO is helping prevent unwanted litters, reduce shelter intake, and keep more pets where they belong.

1,000 surgeries. 1,000 steps toward preventing suffering before it begins.

And as we mark 16 years of paws, purpose & progress, this milestone is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we bring care where it’s needed most.

🚐 FIDO is just getting started.

Great TNVR work happening in LA aboard the Fido Fixers van! 🚐🐾❤️
We love seeing our partners and their communities working together to make a difference for community cats!

𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦. It really is that simple.🐾

Every surgery helps prevent unwanted litters before they happen. That means fewer puppies and kittens born without homes, fewer animals entering already crowded shelters, and more resources available for the animals who need us today.

And the impact doesn’t stop there. Spaying and neutering can also provide important health and behavioral benefits that help pets live healthier lives with the families who love them.

That’s why access matters.

Through Fido Fixers, our mobile surgical units help bring spay/neuter services into communities across the country—because sometimes saving a life starts by preventing a litter. 🚐🐶🐱

🏀 Welcome to Philly, LeBron!

Philadelphia is a city that shows up for its teams, its neighbors, and the causes that make our communities stronger.

While you're chasing another championship on the court, we'll keep chasing a different goal: making sure every pet has access to affordable veterinary care and helping prevent pet overpopulation, one surgery at a time.

From everyone at Fido Fixers and Providence Animal Center, welcome to the City of Brotherly Love. ❤️🐾

If you ever want to see one of the country's largest mobile spay/neuter programs in action, we'd be honored to show you around one of our Fido vans.

Good luck this season, and welcome home, Philly-style!
