🚨 URGENT FLIGHT VOLUNTEER NEEDED TO BOSTON 🚨

Is anyone flying from San Juan (SJU) to Boston (BOS) as soon as possible? ✈️🐾

Poor Calypso missed her flight today through no fault of her own. JetBlue canceled all flights this morning, leaving her flight volunteer scrambling to rebook with United 💔!

Unfortunately, the new flight departed earlier, and there wasn’t enough time to get Calypso to the airport.

Now we urgently need another traveler to help get this sweet girl to Boston! Flying with Calypso is completely free, we coordinate everything, provide all necessary supplies, and cover the pet-in-cabin fee.

Her mom is desperately waiting for her in Boston!

Our favorite landmark in Puerto Rico? The I ❤️ PR sign, of course! 😍🇵🇷

You can find this iconic sign in the departures area of Terminal A, near the JetBlue counters. Even if you’re flying with another airline, you can still stop by Terminal A, snap a picture, and then walk over to your airline’s check-in counter! 📸✈️

When I tell you we have the BEST village, I do not take that lightly! 🥹❤️ Just look at how precious these pictures are!

Renee was once a stray cat who was rescued by one of the incredible independent rescuers we work with. Although we don’t handle many cat adoptions, we always try to help whenever we can, because cats deserve their chance at a beautiful life too! 🐱✨

Renee was adopted through our adoption program, Fly Dogz PR Adoptions and this sweet, full-circle moment has completely melted our hearts. 🥹

A huge thank-you to Mercedes for signing up to fly a rescued pet with FlyDogzPR and being willing to transport both dogs AND cats! Because of her, we were able to fly one of our very own rescue cat Rene to his forever home in PHL. ✈️🐾

And can we talk about the adorable welcome sign and the little thank-you card featuring Renee’s face on the plane?! 😭💕 It truly does not get any cuter than this!

We are so humbled and honored to have such an incredible village supporting our mission. Thank you for helping us give deserving animals like Renee the second chances they deserve! 🇵🇷❤️

➡️ Swipe to see what love at first sight really looks like! 🥹❤️🐾

We can’t lie … running this organization is incredibly stressful. The constant social media posts, DMs, emails, and coordination between rescue organizations, flight volunteers, and drop-off and pickup coordinators takes an immense amount of time and energy.

But then we receive pictures like these, and suddenly, every single moment feels worth it. ❤️

Seeing rescued dogs from Puerto Rico united with the incredible humans who chose to adopt them is what keeps us going. These adopters take a chance on a dog they haven’t even met in person and commit to giving them the best life possible. By the time these pups arrive, they are already completely loved and officially home. 🏡

Moments like this fill our cups right back up, and somehow give us the energy to dedicate another 40+ hours each week to this volunteer work.

A huge thank you to our flyer for bringing Zoe home!

Zoe was adopted from Souls of Satos Rescue an amazing rescue org from Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷

Our very own little Bert is on his way to Boston thanks to Eida and her family! ✈️🐾❤️

His journey started at 2 a.m. so he could arrive at the airport by 4 a.m. for his 6 a.m. flight, and in just a few minutes, he’ll finally be united with his adopters! 🥹❤️

Bert was adopted through our Fly Dogz PR Adoptions program and flown all the way to Boston to begin his new life!

When you sign up to transport a rescue dog with FlyDogzPR, you may help fly one of our own adopted pups, or a dog from one of the many rescue organizations we support across Puerto Rico. We proudly share our volunteers because saving satos is a team effort! 🇵🇷✈️🐶

Our favorite transports? The ones where we can maximize every pet spot on the flight! ✈️🐶❤️ A huge thank you to this lovely family of 4 who helped us transport 4 Satos from BQN to JFK 🐾

DYK? Most aircrafts allow up to six pet carriers per flight. If you’re traveling with a group, encourage everyone to sign up, it increases the number of rescue dogs we can fly!

Many of our independent rescuers drive 1–3 hours each way to the airport, sometimes making multiple trips to transport an entire litter. When you convince your family and friends to help, it makes a HUGE difference.

A huge thank you to Rios Cohen Familia and her husband for helping us transport little Suzzy to Baltimore! ✈️❤️🇵🇷

Suzzy is now safe with her foster mama, Amalia Renkiewicz, who is fostering through our adoption program, Arevir Ileram. 🐾

For us to fly dogs out of Puerto Rico, they need a safe place to land. That’s why fostering and adopting are such important parts of our rescue journey!
