FREEDOM RIDE! Soooo many persons and neighbors reached out on Sunday about getting kittens to Safety. By itself, another day of good people looking out for Philly Kittys in need. By the time we were catching up on emails and DMs, our recommendations for the kittens was an immediate trip to ACCT Philly to be seen by their medical team.
We even texted amongst ourselves about so many young kittens found - especially this time of year. And that’s when the Lifesaving Team at ACCT reached out….
Lifesaving was able to rearrange an overnight foster and we ran over first thing.
While waiting for the kittens that we agreed to take from ACCT Philly, we had a peek around and stumbled on Abby Cadabby who’s a stunning albeit underweight Siamese who was finishing up her microchip hold. Sadly, her previous adoption was seemingly uninterested and not looking for Abby. It’s so very difficult to NOT take every kitty at ACCT. But we do as much as we can squeeze in and we scooped Abby up!
While waiting for the medical team to set the kittens up with meds, we checked out their surrender paperwork and discovered they’d been found a block from our shop! We went back to our messages from Sunday and discovered that ALL the kittens that neighbors reached out about were THESE TWO!! We’re calling the cuties Batter and Crumbs!! And boy are they precious!!
Freedom Rides are the best - second only to Gotcha Days! We’re thrilled to have been able to find space for and spring THREE Kittys from the city’s only intake shelter.
Abby Cadabby is available for Adoption. Batter and Crumbs will have to wait a bit. Follow us for updates on this three and our other fosters and adoptables!
