In Boudreaux's lesson this week, he learned his Come (Recall) and Sit commands! Boudreaux showed out and showed how smart of a boy he was and learned these commands in no time. Max the German Shepherd got to meet Nova, our newest STAR Puppy trainee, during class this week! Max and Nova learned to stop barking at each other, listen to their owners, and finally greet each other without feeling so scared or territorial over their parents. This was a breakthrough experience for both young pups as they dropped their guard and warmed up to each other, then curiously sniffed one another.

In Lily's lesson this week we worked on the Heel command! Heel is where your pup walks nicely next to you going at your pace and without pulling on the leash. After showing Lily and her dad some cool tricks to make Heel easier for them both, Lily showed how smart she is and got it in no time! Now Lily's dad can walk her without possibly tripping over her and she won't try to pull him around everywhere anymore. Good job Lily!
