We know how to pick them! Selecting the perfect family or individual to adopt is a big responsibility and can be a long process from creating the perfect description of the pet, to posting them on our adoption websites, to reviewing the applications, to making the reference calls and finally calling the potential adopter and remembering the adoption day photo such as these. My favorite part of the entire process.

Our Charcuterie pups, Brie, Pistachio & Caper, have all been officially adopted as of yesterday evening.

They arrived on Monday and were fixed and microchipped yesterday by PetFix Northeast Ohio, Inc.

These families are fantastic. We couldn't be more excited for these three cuties.
Thank you to our rescue partner, Lucky Penny Rescue Network for all you to make their journey a success.

We are critically low on both dry cat & dog food again.

We need to pack the shelves before our June 28th. distribution or face another cancelation.

We know our social media community can't sustain us forever.

We recognize that we've been asking for more and more help lately and we really appreciate all this community has and continues to do for all the furbabies in our program.

It's been extremely difficult lately. We fear some difficult decisions about our pantries future will need to be made very soon.

A Call That Changed My Life

Back in March 2017 I got a text from a gal I met while serving as the Vet Chairman at a local Animal Shelter. She called and asked if I could take in the five puppies her dog had given birth too. She didn’t have the means to care for them properly. These pups came to me with Mange, a skin disease that needed oral medication and weekly baths. I didn’t know how I was going to do it myself, but I answered her call and rose to the challenge. Many of my friends pitched in and brought puppy chow, crates, toys and a big puppy bed. We had a fundraiser from Tupperware to help defray the cost of their vet visit.

This experience changed my life, I loved working with these pups, getting them healthy and socializing them to become the best dogs they could be. We adopted them to some awesome families who still send pictures and videos to this day. This is how my journey began how this rescue got started.
