🐾 Meet Mia! 🖤🤎

If you’re looking for a fun-loving sidekick with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Mia just might be your girl.

Mia is a 4-year-old black and tan hound weighing 58 pounds, and she brings classic hound energy wherever she goes — nose to the ground, tail in the air, and always ready for her next adventure. This social, playful pup loves to stay busy and thrives on attention from her people.

Mia is energetic and strong on leash, so she’ll do best with someone who enjoys getting out for long, sniff-filled walks and plenty of activity. She also loves a good game of fetch and is always up for fun. Life with Mia is never boring — she’s the kind of dog who keeps you smiling and makes every day a little more exciting.

Mia would do best with older children, and a meet-and-greet is required for any resident dogs. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

✨ Mia is available through our foster-to-adopt program, which means she can start settling into your home while finishing up her vetting, including updated vaccines, a microchip, and heartworm testing.

“I adopted Willow in November of 2025 after having her and her kittens as fosters. I knew mom wouldn’t have the chance her babies would at being adopted and wanted to give her a safe place to call home after being found as a stray. Willow is s***ky cat who has the best personality. She loves to run around the house and squash spiders. She is unlike other cats and adores all the attention she can get. She used to hiss and bat at me and now gives endless love. Willow is a perfect example of an animal who had a rough start but with patience and kindness has opened up her shell and showed just how much love she has to give . No animal is too far gone or damaged when the right person comes into their life and makes the difference. Willow is proof of just that.

✨ Meet CC & Luna — a bonded pair of best friends looking for a soft place to land together. ✨

These two gentle girls have been through heartbreak after their beloved owner was hospitalized and sadly never made it back home. Through it all, they’ve had each other — and now they’re hoping to find a loving family who will keep them side by side, exactly where they belong. ❤️

🐾 Luna (6 years old, 29 lbs) is a terrier mix with soulful eyes and a heart full of love. Equal parts walking buddy and professional cuddle expert, Luna is happiest by your side — whether that’s on a stroll (she’s wonderful on leash!) or curled up nearby for a cozy nap. Her specialty? Gentle lean-ins and irresistible requests for butt scratches. 🖤

🐾 CC (12 years young, 24 lbs) is a cairn terrier mix with a quiet sweetness and just the right touch of s***k. She enjoys peaceful walks, soft beds, and calm companionship. CC is the kind of dog who makes ordinary days feel special simply by being near.

Together, these girls are dog-friendly, low-to-medium energy, and happiest in a calm home with older, respectful children. They’re experts at the simple things in life: quiet walks, cozy naps, and unconditional love. 🏡

✨ Both are spayed, microchipped, and available through our foster-to-adopt program while they complete vetting. CC will need regular grooming to keep her soft coat looking fabulous!

CC & Luna don’t ask for much — just kindness, comfort, and a forever home where they can stay together. In return? Double the love, double the loyalty, and two grateful hearts who will never stop loving you. ❤️🐾

The 2026 - Play For the Paws Softball Superdraft Tournament is still looking for $100 sponsors!

This is the last week to snag your spot. The Play for the Paws Softball tournament is happening July 25th.

While this is a softball event it’s also a community event, baskets, 50/50, and so much more. Winners don’t have to be present everything raised benefits the shelter! The tournament is in its 4th year.
