For years we have heard “can this cat go outside?”, “there’s a cat trying to come in, can I let it in?” Or our favorite, “awww, whose cat is that?” To which we would happily say, “she’s ours!” Sage was a staple in the hospital. Covid lockdown made this angry little schmitten into our hospital emotional support cat.

Tragically, we lost Sage the beginning of August to kidney disease. A disease that she fought hard to overcome for a while. We have had an empty spot in our hearts, in our hospital and our chairs.

Through the years of having Sage we have built up a lot of toys, beds and food for her. Today we went to greenuprockland and donated Sages things. We plan to help the shelter animals the way that Sage impacted all of us.

We will miss Sage every single day and no one will ever be able to replace her but in normal Sage fashion, she continues to help lives.

- x ray technician
- dental hygienist
- surgical technician
- anesthesiologist
- pharmacist
- And so much more!!!
