Wishing all of our CVC family and friends a Happy Halloween 🎃

07/20/2026

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday July 21st, we will be having repairs done to our upper driveway. While the paving company works, clients must enter the driveway on the Oneonta side of Brandow's Feed and Seed, and drive down to the vet clinic past the back of their store. Our parking lot will still be open but you won't be able to access it via the usual route.
Signs will be posted to direct clinic traffic. Thank you and we apologize for the inconvenience.

The clinic welcomed five beautiful puppies today for their wellness visit, and Dr. Lucanie was delighted to give them a clean bill of health and some sweet puppy snuggles.

Dr. Leahy said goodbye to two of his favorite patients Zeus and Rhea today as they get ready to move. Rhea and Zeus are Miami Dolphins fans but decided to gift Dr. Leahy with a Buffalo Bills surgery cap before leaving.

🐾 Don’t Forget About Our Pets This Week! 🥵

With dangerous heat expected to build across the region this week, our pets will be feeling it too.

• 💧 Make sure they always have access to fresh, cool water.
• 🌳 Provide plenty of shade if they’re outside.
• 🚶 Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the hottest part of the day.
• 🐾 Remember: if the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.
• 🚗 Never leave a pet in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes.
• ❄️ If possible, keep them indoors in air conditioning or a cool, well-ventilated area during the hottest part of the day.

Our dogs, cats, and other pets rely on us to keep them safe. A little extra care during this upcoming heat wave can make all the difference. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and don’t forget about your four-legged family members! ❤️🐶🐱
