October 18-24 is National Veterinary Technician Week! We've been taking this time to recognize our exemplary staff for all their contributions to the health and well being of the patients of OVH. Today we are giving a special shout out to Shelby and Reese, our two LVTs-in-training. Both these ladies have been working hard on their coursework all year and are getting ever closer to becoming licensed techs in NY state. While completing their studies, they have continued to work hard on a full time basis to provide support for the doctors and patients. We are so proud of all they have already achieved and look forward to watching them continue to grow their skills and knowledge base!

Every year we take this time to recognize the credentialed veterinary technicians in our profession for their endless compassion and expert care, and celebrate them for being the soul of veterinary medicine. Let's all give a huge round of applause for Dawn and Jorge, the Licensed Vet Techs behind the care given to the patients of OVH. They are the every day heroes we rely on for skilled nursing, client education, wellness care, and everything else in between!
