✨Ready for some farm news?!✨
🌱We had an INCREDIBLE plant sale this year. It is always amazing to experience our community showing up to support us, we are so thankful.
The farm this year made a slight pivot. After a several conversations we have decided that the 2026 Plant Sale was our last big plant sale.
One of our main goals for our farm is to keep things affordable and accessible. With the cost increase to everything, we are unable to maintain the plant sale at an affordable price point. Will I ever sell plants again? Of course, I can’t help myself. But will I grow 3,000 plants for a sale? Not any time soon.
The plant sale has always been a labor of love for me. I love growing plants and I love growing plants for other people. It’s a hard shift, but a necessary one.
Immediately after the plant sale we moved the plant tent so we could start on another project. If you stopped by after the early plant sale, I’m sure you saw us taking the tunnel down. It looks so empty.
🥕But in replace of the tunnel we are putting in a massive garden! We removed the tunnel and the garden beds and started putting up fence posts. Brandon and I are so excited to grow in ground again. We’ve missed it.
👨🌾 Now to the next big farm update. We’re a farmer down. Farmer Brandon was helping me and went to move an implement. Unfortunately, that implement rolled back and pulled his arm and caused his bicep tendon to tear completely. Within a week of the injury we traveled between appointments and were able to get him in for an emergency surgery. His surgery went perfectly. We had a phenomenal surgeon who moved swiftly to get him seen and fixed.
What this looks like for our farm. We have a lot to do and we are down a person. Things might go a little slower but they will get done. We’re thankful that he is doing well and that he’s already on the mend. But recovery for his injury is nine months and that puts us all the way to next year.
We will pivot and shift our plans. But we’re happy he’s ok and feeling good.
☀️We are so thankful for everyone’s support and encouragement. We love what we do out here.☀️
Anyways, that’s it—hopefully. 😂
